I am just starting and I did years of scrap booking but I really don't stress if I have pages I don't like I just move on. I have seen processes for covering and revealing only parts of the pages if you really want to rework a page. I also agree you need to play with colors and move on . I think all of your pages are beautiful and could be used at backgrounds on the unfinished pages.
I am in love with all the colours and abstracts I want to marry you're art journal if you scanned this and turned this in to printable's I would buy them all, my art is really a mess you should so proud of you amazing work!
It's funny, as what you call a huge mess would totally get you a place in art school... seriously. This sort of creative play is so important, as you say xx
Funny, you call it a huge mess and I see things peeking out at me, in the shadows of those paint blobs. Also at minute 5:35, I see a purple swim costume/ tankini floating in the breeze. I think your journal is gorgeous, if you ever finish anymore pages, I would loved to see them!
I have an art journal like that, I go back and finish another page when the mood takes me....there is no time limit to finish and I am happy about that lol. Thank you for showing us your first art journal! :-)

Thanks so much! Yes, there's def room to play there, but somehow I don't feel like it... maybe one day!

You have rose colored glasses! My passion is an ugly blob of paint ;)
for your first journal that’s really great, it’s a beautiful mess ☺️gives me inspiration to start my first journal, thanks ❤️
You can do it!
@@iritlandgraf thanks hun 😊
@@iritlandgraf what would u recommend for starting ? Neo color 2?
Really depends on what you like to use. Some people love watercolors, others just a pencil. Grab a sketchbook and your favorite supply and go :)
@@iritlandgraf don’t have a favorite lol haven’t got any watercolours, just dunno what to start with. thanks : )

You're welcome! And yes, you are so right. One can work on an art journal for years! It is a special format.
how do u stop pages from fading? I’d love to look at these beautiful colours for years to come
There's no reason for them to fade when they are in a closed sketchbook.
@@iritlandgraf okay :) I wasn’t sure keep hearing ppl say about stuff not being archival or not having a good light fast rating
I also need intention when I create a page. Without a plan or an idea, my pages turn into bla that have to be covered up
was this all with just watercolours? was gonna buy watercolours but I have a lot of acrylics to use 😆
Not at all, I think mostly acrylics
