My only visit to Albania was in 2019 and I was pleasantly surprised. The locals are friendly and the few who speak English are keen to practice, I was their Guinea Pig. My hotel was near Tirana Airport so I set myself a challenge. Travel to the city centre and return by bus, alone. I made it.
