Tiffany Schaefer-Celtic Harp and Voice oh no! Well I hope you get it sorted. I play fiddle and guitar so I know the pain of broken strings. Thank you. Do you think I could get away with a 29 stringed harp?
Tiffany Schaefer-Celtic Harp and Voice I love all of the Celtic tunes. So my style of playing would be similar to yours! Um I am in the UK. I was looking on gear for music website. They have them ranging from 12 to 36 strings. I didn't want to huge. But wanted to be able to follow along with your tutorial and it sound the same!
Hmm, I'm not familiar with that website, but their harps look similar to the roosbeck/rosewood/mid-east made harps that are very cheap quality. I'm not 100% sure that those are the same but I'd proceed with caution. ;) The most economical harp I've found that I recommend is by Backyard Music, called Fireside harps. You can get them with levers too. :) Waring harps are good quality too, for just a small harp to start on, though they don't come with levers. Lots of people are happy with the Harpsicle harps, too! :)

Just beautiful Tiffany, the rolled chords really bring out the delicacy and feeling of the piece!
Thanks Wendy!
Great lesson. Love the ornaments. Thank you
My pleasure Francis, thank YOU for your support!
Thanks for this! I’ve been working on it for a few weeks, and listening again I need to fix a few rhythms... thanks again!!
I'm so glad it's useful to you Helen! Maybe you'll show us a video of your version when you're ready? :)
Do you have your arrangement of this on Sheet Music Plus, Tiffany?
Thank you! :)
Pleasure! Thanks for watching!
Hi what size is your harp? I am thinking of getting one. Would like on the same size as yours!
Hi Willow! It's a 36 string (though right now it's a 34 because the top two strings have broken!) :P
