This is the era of Mid 80's kids to Early 90's kid. Such a nostalgic era is Doordarshan. The dramas are so smooth, slow and having much good message for audience. No unusual makeups, no annoying BGMs, no villis, no useless romance, jealousy, always planning to spoil happiness of enemies and rubbish so on. In fact, even movie actors from junior artists to popular supporting actors and most experienced veteran drama artists will be featured in DD dramas. As a 90's kid, i have not experienced much though, some of them i've seen like this, Vizhudhugal, udal porul anandhi and one day short dramas of different stories everyday were little remembered as a 6-8 yrs old. But still there is a domination of dubbing Hindi serials like Junoon, chandrakantha, ajnabi, tu tu mein mein, shriman shrimati was minused our regional programs was a worrying factor. Missing those diamond period. :(
