This game has been a major part of my childhood, I loved this game ever since it came out! And your music really adds to the whole “Twisted Disney” feel. Thank you Jim Dooley, for being a great part of my childhood.
My favorite of the combat themes. I love those lower brass and bass parts during the Small World melody. And the flute or whistle (I can't remember and have it paused) that plays a little before the melody is very spooky (but in a good way). How the Small World melody is playing over the menacing booming of the bass drum and lower brass parts gives off that perfect eerieness to the song, and it gets the adrenaline flowing. It really gives off the sense that there is danger and you need to act to save your life! I can never get enough of it. Despite playing violin (I can decently play cello, but I'm only self taught so I'm not that good) for 6 years, I will always love bass parts the most. The bone rattling buzz is the most thrilling part of any song that uses low frequencies as a form of (somewhat) physical creepiness or show of power or dark themes. It really is an indescribable thing. Having overwhelming bass there to just be there or drown out bad singing or the lack of real musicians (like a good number of pop songs nowadays do) ruins music, in my opinion. I love listening to songs like this that make me feel legitimate emotions and can make hair stand on end. I don't like getting migraines from bass that literally puts out compressed sound waves that put pressure on my body and make my heart and lungs feel like they can't do their job of keeping me alive. Yes. That's actually what happens to me because I have a curse called "senses that are dialed up to 25 on a scale of 1-10".
This theme is so great and it really helps contrast this game from just another basic 3d platformer. You did this soundtrack so well that I showed my friend this song and he asked if it was a boss fight. Bravo!
I wish there was a fight in the gremlin village now Edit: I just remembered there is a spatter in the wind mill you can fight and save a gremlin up there and he’ll open a short cut projector that skips a small area of the game
Slalom & the boat rides are in Gremlin Village, all of which contain blotlings. You'd hear it for longer if you failed Small Pete's quest as you'd have to fight a bunch of spatter, seers, & blotlings in the European Boat Ride's colosseum.
Your music for this game has stayed on my mind years after playing it. I had so much fun with Epic Mickey as a kid but what most sticked with me was the music. It is what gave the game that distinctive feel of wonder and mystery with dark elements mixed in. I can't wait to play the remake.
A criminally underrated Small World remix!
agreed!

Thank you! I’m so humbled to hear this.
This has gotta be my favourite song from the game. Every instrument played here makes so much of an impact to the song!
No one has been able to match this musical style. Genuinely incredible
You have this game most of its style and flare in my opinion
Thank you!
I have listened to this too many times
Too many? Not possible.
@@JimDooleyMusic I don't think you understand, I have listened to this song in epic mickey for more than 90 times, both on a Wii and an emulator.
Ah! Got it now.
It's Disney music, it shouldn't sound this epic
But it does
Well, it *is* called *Epic* Mickey for a reason, my friend.
It’s a Disney game they just made it different
0:38 holy god this part made me freaking ASCEND. Way to go, Dooley!
Thank you!
I love how dark and serious these songs are, it really adds to the atmosphere of the game. It sounds very cinematic too.
The this beat though

The worst enemy in the village wasn't the spatter, it was the camera screwing us over whenever we tried to get on the planes or carpets.

So is there anything we can do to get this incredible game on the Switch?
I wish I could help! thanks for your support of the music.
It happened :D

Thank you for making this game a part of my childhood.
Also, what is the name of the woodblock instrument you use during area themes?
What do you mean? In what ones and what part?
Is it a small world?
Yes, it is.
@@JimDooleyMusic heh, heh, small world.
do you have the earlier versions of the clocktower boss, and if you do could you please upload them.
Thank you so much for uploading these! Do you happen to have the 3 individual channels for this song? I would love to hear them each individually.
I believe they are already up.

Jim Dooley ah, I meant the layers for the combat music. If you don’t have them, it’s all good!
There is only 1 combat layer for GV
