I really enjoy this video, currently I live quite near Cremona, I just started to study violin by myself. I really want to possess one original violin from Cremona but unluckily I have very low budget :)
Yes I think so! starting from my own workshop! and than all the others. My biggest problem is that I actually don't have all hat time to work fro free! did you already subscribe to my channel? did you subscribe to my Patreon Channel? tomorrow I will make my monthly Q&A live transmission. Hope to see you there. all the best from Cremona
Ik it's a 1 year old comment but still I'm replying to it. I'd recommend you to find a local violin maker who could take you in as an apprentice first, it's very hard to directly seek informations and advice here on youtube from a professional violin maker who studied in Cremona :)
Send me the pictures by mail to: edgar@eruss.it and I will check what it is. all the best Edgar PS.: I haven't seen you signing up on Patreon. Monday will be the next Q&A, only for subscribed patrons!!!! 3€ and you can send me your questions also days before and watch the videos later on. 🤭
I want to visit Cremona as well and who knows, I may find a left handed violin while I'm there. I am a true left handed violinist like Terje Moe Hansen. So please do not tell me I need to play right handed because forcing a lefty to play right handed is as cruel as forcing a lefty to write right handed.
Of course! Write them an eMail, indicate your budget and ask for the list of instruments they have available. Tonarelli, Trabucchi, Cremona Violin Store and Workshop, Giorgio Grisales, Andrea Schudtz, Adriano Spadoni, Staynov & Andreeva and Fernando Lima and myself are all ready to help you find your dream instrument. enjoy and let me know and share your experience here for the rest of the audience of my channel Edgar PS.: I haven't seen you signing up on Patreon. tres bien pour la vue !! mais quel dommage qu’il ny est au qu’un son de violon…. quelque sonorité de cette superbe collection aurait était une apothéose ….
Edgar thanks for showing us Cremona. You should love to see the Cremona of the mid 1700s LOL
Very good and proffessional shop 👌

A great video, thank you. Do you have some videos showing some good violin workshops who are making new violins in Cremona?

I bought a violin from an old man and inside the violin the sticker says Cremono. I have no idea where he got it from.
Send me the pictures by mail to: edgar@eruss.it and I will check what it is.
