You should live like a local and immersed yourself in the culture.Foraging for snails is either day(if you know the demographics or with a local guide)the whit snail you should also need a local because some of this are found in a tree that has an itchy leaf.fascinating as to forage for them but tasting your local find and eating them is is one of a kind,thank you for your love of our native delicacies,I am also an Ivatan,from Imnajbu.Dios mamahes.
Ang ganda ng Batanes... sasakupin ng ibang bansa yan lalot napapanood na sa UA-cam ang kagandahan nyan... dapat bawat isla lalo na yong medyo malayo at nakahiwalay protektahan ng husto ng gobyerno... lagyan ng Philippine Flag, tayuan ng military camp, lagayan ng solar street lamps... masyadong nakatutok ang gobyerno sa capital cities... unti unti ng nananakop ang ibang bansa sa mga isla natin.

Do you remember seeing any Buko in Batanes? I will be visiting soon,and need to drink Buko juice for health reasons. Salamat !
Sorry but there are no coconut trees in Batanes. Been there didn't see any. Tall trees get toppled down by the strong winds and the soil is too shallow. Underneath the soil is rock.
@@Cdel2006 lol. Says who? We have a lot of coconut trees here and buko is very abundant. We are selling bukos here on every local stores.
