I happened to hear this late at night on the radio.. hadn't heard this song in ages. This music video from the 90's is so iconic.. I mean..Helena Christensen! hello! So I decided to do a simple one-take style piano cover. Sorry for missing the slide guitar which is such a huge part of this song ;)

Impressed most by how simple the recording is. No overproduced, effects ridden nonsense. Just a girl with a beautiful voice and exceptional talent on the paino
After listening to about 20 different takes on Wicked Game, I congratulate Marie Digby. This is very good. Very impressed. The singing and playing was very clean and tidy. I've only liked a few (people's versions of this song), and this is one of them.

I have to agree. I managed to find about 40 different versions. From hip-hop to classical, to Irish folk. I find the Issac tones in the original version match this cover with exquisite timing. As you say, her playing was very very clean indeed. I like them all as I love the song; but this version in particular trumps all in my eyes. Of course we all have different opinions which I respect.

Sometimes when I can’t sleep I pick a song & go down the UA-cam rabbit hole looking for covers. There’s no one who covers Wicked Game as wonderful as you. This is pure perfection.

I'm struggling on how to comment. To try to use words like gorgeously breathtaking is an insult to this performance. There's no way to describe the beautiful way you played and sung this song. So very well done. Thank you. You got tears and goosebumps from me.
I think she inherits some Japanese style restraining and introversion from her mother's side, which is exotic and rare in western culture (of course relatively speaking).

This song still haunts me from the time I had this album playing it and met the woman I should have married......she had it in her vehicle tape player as well, what the coincidence. A short 1 year lived romance that ended because of my selfishness. This is the one thing in my life I would go back and change if I could. The closest thing I can do though is listen to this song again. Thanks for a beautiful cover of this song that is forever with me.
