I've watched so many videos on how to use this pen in the hopes to embroider my clothes and you're the first one to be honest about this not being the best option for that! Thank you! May I ask why though?
Thanks so much! It’s best not to embroider clothes with the pen, as the loops are what keeps the thread in, and with movement they come out, and are quite bulky too! Embroidery pen is best for framed pieces with no functionality, which is unfortunate, as it would open up so many cool ideas. I’ll have a video on Saturday on how to secure the stitches, and will do some experimentation on that! Stay safe and happy crafting!

I wouldn’t, as the back loops have a tendency to come apart, and they add quite a bit of thickness to the piece! Regular embroidery is probably better.
I tried to use this pen a year back , but i think i used the wrong cloth , i was trying to make a heart shape but my cloth was literally cut out in the shape of heart
@@CraftyMax the pen that has the purple rubber on it. It came with a needle that has no hole in it to even work with. My friend ordered me a kit and it’s useless. What a waste of money. Sorry ,I normally don’t complain but I am having issues with it.

Can you use on embroidery kits?
I’m sure you could, but you might not have enough yarn as the loops use quite a lot. Happy crafting!!!
Which cloth is more suitable for this pen
I would use monk cloth or embroidery cloth, you might also have some luck with a thick weave! Happy crafting!!

I can’t get the threader go through the tube, it feels like it gets hung on something. What am I doing wrong. Please help me !
I would check that there is nothing in there, or maybe try with some wire first to unclog it? Hope that helps!

A thicker fabric ideally the ones designed for that work best unfortunately!

You can use any kind of yarn wool in a wooden punch hook

When i try it ,it doesn’t stay in place
I would try using the longest setting on your pen, and hold the first few stitches in with your hand! Hope that works!!

Seems like the best way to embroid clothes is still to make a vector and let the embroidery machine do the rest. 😅
