not many people will understand what excellence this actually is. not only is it brilliantly written (the depth of theoretical musical knowledge required to write this song is very advanced), not only does it require various techniques to execute it sensationally, but how he on top of that has mastered the sense of dynamical changes to vary the musical expression, to impact us listeners with different moods and emotions throughout the whole song... this is what makes the difference between someone who has practiced when and where to put their fingers, and someone who truly understands music. this is absolutely phenomenal.

Cant believe its been 3 years
Saw Sungha with Trace Bundy in Colorado Springs about a month ago. When Sungha was much younger his playing was a bit mechanical, but OMG not any more. When he played this song myself and a lady behind me both burst into tears, way to go Sungha. A guitar master he is, with lots of soul. He should not be missed if he comes your way. Hope he comes back soon.
I listen to a LOT of instrumental guitar music by virtuoso players who are considered to be the best guitarists alive such as john petrucci, steve vai, and joe satriani. But NONE of them has ever come CLOSE to making anything this amazing. This could be the greatest piece of instrumental guitar music i have ever heard. Sungha sounds like 3 people when he plays, its mind blowing.

This song makes me so happy every time I listen to it. It just feels...like a song. I mean, of course it's a song, but it sounds like something someone would sing in a movie or something. I can almost hear lyrics in it, but it's so incredibly beautiful without them. If I had to describe what being in love is like, what it is like to cherish someone or something with your entire body and soul, I would just play this song. This song is the embodiment of peace an...cherishment? Is that a word? That's what this song means to me, "to cherish." Like a mother holding her child, or being with the one you love, things like that. You are a true musical genius. Anyone can put their passion or emotion into a song; it takes a true master to evoke an emotion from a listener. The same emotion from every listener, from what I saw of the comments, which means that it is your doing, not the listener's. I wish I had a music degree or something so that I could tell you all the amazing things in this song on a practical level, but I don't, and I can only tell you this: I think you're amazing, along with the other 99% of your viewers. Please keep it up, and I know you'll accomplish great things!

When I listen to it, it feels like a child being nurtured by his mother. The child dances, learn and amazed by the universe. He wants to explore the Milky Way. Soon he learns, and his mother is happy on how much his child has grown. Truly a beautiful music which takes on you on a journey.

I've been watching this channel for several years now. It's funny to me, because it's like I've watch a star being born. Back then, you were just a little child, playing on a guitar that was bigger than you were, and now, you're releasing your 4th album and posted your first official music video! I knew back then when I first came across your videos that you would go far, and looking at you now confirms exactly that.
When i feel very down, I always listen to this song to keep pushing forward and move on to what happened today because there is always tomorrow. Never give up!

Sungha is the best guitar performer that I had ever seen in my life, his fingerstyle is just incredible for this reason I gave to him 10/10, he doing great job, and whoever said that he is not an amazingly guitar performer , do it yourself and prove that you are commenting about his style.:)

Jose Moraga terms of level of skill idk about kotaro oshio, but he's certainly a better composer (no offence sungha) as of now. AS OF NOW. haha. idk about andy mckee but that ebony coast song by him is really unique.

finola fang One of the most interesting things about instrumental music is that a lot of the time it can convey the meaning or feeling more effervescently, rather than using words and hoping somebody understands what you mean. And sometimes its better that way, I mean people talk enough haha.

I have been listening to this song ever since it first came out and I never tire of it. Calming, hauntingly beautiful, one might almost say ethereal. If Sungha should ever adopt one of his compositions as his personal trademark or theme song, this should definitely be it.

The first time I heard this was live at your concert, was really mesmerized at how dreamy and light-footed the song was. Like a wonderful stroll through the forest during a spring afternoon, frolicking round and round, till nighttime, collapsing into a bed of flowers and gazing up towards the starry night.
I love how this sounds like a song stars would play. He is an absolute genius when it comes to composing.
