Yup. That's what I said in the video where I found it. They bought it for their daughter who was just starting band class, so I'm not sure if it was a second practice instrument or maybe they would rather save the money until they knew whether or not she was serious about it.
Student instrument (removable 3d valve ring for lyre) with a crumpled bell. If you got $155, the blind were leading the blind. Crumple is removable for about $200.
I've being re-selling used and vintage musical instruments, woodwind and brasswind, mostly saxophones for almost 10 years. I do know how to play them/test them and some basic repairs. Some times I doubled the investment. I buy locally and ship worldwide. Some brands and specific models are very collectible and sought after.
I didn't have the special oil you spoke of in your video, so I just put dish soap in the valves; it's slippery and clear, just like oil right? ..well, long story short, it freed up the valves alright, but. ..now every time I play, I blow bubbles like the Lawrence Welk Show. ..I relisted it as Clean. ..will it effect the resale value?
Hey man. I am Hakar Azad from Iraq, and I have a whole new brand percussions that I made by myself and I am willing to sell it on amazon. Right now I am working on the whole processes of selling on amazon that is why I saw your video and it is amazing.
First off, I wanted to say Thank You for your wonderful video’s. I’ve learned a lot from you. I have a question that maybe you can help me with. I bought a complete set of Rosetta Stone Spanish Version 3 Level 1-5 and I posted it on eBay and it was removed stating copyright software violation. Now, my question is why would they remove mine and not all the other listings? Also, do you think that maybe I could only picture the box and try relisting it? I had a picture of the software and everything as where other listings only have the box. Your help with this is greatly appreciated. Thank You for your time and keep up the great work! Sincerely, Theresa
Most excellent!! That was a great informative video for the simple fixes. I picked up a couple of guitars leaning against someone's trash bin about a month or two ago. They need a bit of work, but they were FREE! The full size is an acoustic Yamaha. The other is a kids size acoustic. I have not research them yet, but I'm thinking I can at least get a few bucks for them locally. I also picked up a 120 year old piano for FREE as well. It weighs a ton. Took six grown men to get it out of the bed of my pickup. I'm putting new castors on it to help move it around better. I did do some research on it and it is worth between $200 to $400 in it's current condition. If I wanted to put some real money into it, maybe $1000 or so to make it like new, then I could ask about $8000+. I would have to have a solid buyer on the hook for that though, otherwise I'm listing it locally for a $100 or so with pick up only. lol
Pianos are like pool tables they're a tough sale. When I was buying storage units, I'd usually just give them both away for free (unless it was a coin op pool table).
Great vid great energy , here’s another tip check for silver mouthpieces and check type of metal , be it gold plated or whatever
"a little dent"
Yeah that dent is gonna be a little issue lol

Where do you look locally?
Don't trumpets have a brand name stamped onto them?
+Scott Martin More than likely. I just never looked. The case is yamaha so the trumpet is likely the same, but not necessarily.

Did you also do this to a trumpet
Don’t ever put soap on it! Use valve oil
At least you didn’t use vegetable oil

For a new FBA seller, would you recommend starting out with an FBA Pro account and Inventory Lab on day one? What other tools would you add to that?
