Is Refectix or foam better for a pot cozy?

How does closed-cell foam compare to Reflectix as a material for a pot cozy for weight, volume, durability, and insulating capability? How long will they each keep 500 ml of boiling hot water from freezing in a 0'F or -18'C freezer?

The winner for me is store the foam on the pot in your pack. No need to squish it.
