LORE: Fate is an unusual thing. An unseen force predicting every action of every being. Some deities can see it, recognizing the flow of the plan. There are none, save one, that claims mastery over it, that manipulates it with such cold intent, that steers it ever toward war and the red demise of heroes. In truth, she is many Goddesses, with many names and many forms. But there is only one title. The Morrigan Anu, Macha, Badb. Individually, these three Goddesses were sisters, progenitors of sovereignty, war, and death. They were caretakers of their lush green Éire, champions for armored soldiers, guides for the deceased. It is unknown what bound them together. Some whispered curse, some lover’s scorn. Some dark power or darker purposes. But now they are one. She’s been seen in many shapes. The lurid seductress, the wrinkled hag, the screaming crow, and worst of all, the washer in the river. For those who witness her cleaning their bloody armor prophesies a violent end. Subtle and manipulative, there is no war The Morrigan did not incite. No dying breath she did not collect. Even this war, a war between Gods, must secretly be of her making. So, beware those that behold her, for The Morrigan controls your fate.

@@Cjch_ if she did that would be sadder for morrigan players because in a game where everyone is getting new Bs mechanics. Having come out basically the same is crazy. They coulda atleast made her clone scary by making to where upon using her 1, the active clone stabs the nearest enemy god in range. Fuck it why allow her allow clone to be able to shoot out her 2 upon activation no way they bring Set back the same anyway.
@@Goobis365as a morrigan main, I can confirm she already had one. Whenever she transforms it’s seen as a new body and whatever cc or abilities were applied to the old one dies. You could Dodge Dot dmg, ares/daji chains, nu wa ults, etc with a well timed ult.

@@syfyky Well to be fair the most noticeable jiggle physics would be on Bacchus 😅 but Yemoja would be a close second
Tell me they didn't get rid of death animations and that disintegration effect is just a placeholder.

they did but maybe they will bring back death animations later maybe they just need to work on it and having the disintegration as a replacement
@@YourHomieJCdeath animations are part of the personality of the gods. Amaterasu literally says her famous quote when she dies

So they basically grabbed her from smite 1 and just put in smite 2
I mean her smite 1 kit didnt really need any changes other then slightly modernfying it, which they did with VFX
@@Raydr62 So does Neith's kit which is VERY different now,So does Hades kit who got a hell of a buff in he's ult,So does Sol kit who got way more cool with her giant 2...well i could keep going but vasically every god that has been transfered to smite 2 until now was far from broken or something,they added new things to make them more interesting for the new generation,making morrigan "More interesting" just by slightly changing effects its kind of desapoiting

@@Zanroff And it still is,at some releases they have to ban morrigan for some time to fix her with the new god(Thats why i was kind of surprised to see morrigan come so early to smite 2)
Still the problem there are the tecnical limitations of smite 1,which is far from smite 2
So even a small change would be welcome,like the shape of her stun,a new adittion to her passive(Who might get interesting now with phisical builds) or anything so she might walk side by side with her new friends looking like new divinities
But nah,even her model looks the same bcs Morrigan looked more polished than most gods even on her release lol
