Anyone else notice how durable this dude is. Throughout Raimi’s trilogy, Spidy dropped from several feet several times, got thrown hard into brick and several times to metal dumpsters
Yeah, spiderman you might have heard of him? Super strength, built like a brick
"several feet"
Yeah man I feel like it was a bit more than several
He's got nothing on John Wick though.
Ever drop a real spider or bug on the ground? It’s amazing they can take a beating! People think they’re weak when you step on them and easily kill them, but try imagining them the same size as you, suddenly it’s like punching a monster made of stone with the strength to lift a car over its head with two legs. Even during scenes like this, Peter is still part spider, so he still has the durability of one.

He was the real Spider-Man. No advanced technologies ,no advanced suit. Just his powers and faith in himself
All 3 of them were great imo
@@BigFatMonkey9629yes. but for me, Tobey feel more personal, someone I can relate too and see myself in his place. Andrews Spiderman is great. his Spiderman is the most accurate imo and has the most beautiful suit in tasm2.
Toms Spiderman I don't really like that much because the story in ffh and nwh is low tier. The whole movie(s) feels like cheap cashgrab. Characters are 2 dimensional, can't take anything serious because they always crack jokes every 5 seconds. The settings for each scene is boring and colour grading is disgusting (more pronounced in NWH). And the action scenes are really uncreative except for that one part in FFH. Homecoming was better made and my favourite of Tom's spiderman. But he's still growing with more films, so my opinion might change or not
@@diollinebranderson6553 that’s fine, the hole point of spidey is relatability after all 🙂
@@BigFatMonkey9629 glad you realise heck. You can compare the poster of FFH and NWH to Sam raimis Spiderman posters and you'd see based on that alone there's a difference in quality.

Peter: why is this happening to me?
Spidey powers: I've missed the part where that's my problem
An existential crisis

If this was Tom Holland's Spider Man, Tom would simply call Happy to get a suit upgrade and everything would be fine and dandy once again. Tobey actually had some awesome spider powers INSIDE his body
I really hope they are bringing Tobey Maguire in the MCU👌🏼
The MCU Spiderman films are entertaining I guess in a 'shut off your brain and go with it' kinda way, but the first two Rami films have a lot of heart and are great when it comes to character and acting.
What Spiderman taught us?
Believe in yourself 🌸
ME TOO ❤؍ 🌸
For me, the main reason why the Webb movies were poorly executed and why Homecoming was just okay is because they didn't show Peter's inner turmoil and the curse of being Spider-Man as effectively as this trilogy did.
gor9027 homecoming had to be okay since everyone at that point saw the Sam raimi movies and didn’t want another origin story
Homefucking is trash
homecoming is a great move and so is sam raimi trilogy, to me sam's spiderman explores the character deeply and homecoming is more campy and fun which is why teenagers born just before the amazing spiderman prefers tom hollands version. Both movies are great and both at the same level
@@bradporter8110 True, I admit, I liked Andrew Garfield when I was a kid. Now, I understand that Toby was definitely the best. Tom's fans are mostly from 10 to 15 years old.

This is imo the perfect spiderman, he can't stop a speeding hunk of metal in seconds and he doesn't have any special gadgets or special webbing to help.

I felt sorry for Peter Parker, everything he's been through and how it was with Mary Jane lost all faith in himself. This from my childhood made me sad I can't imagine how life is when you have stress in you.
I love the "oh no" at 0:18
Part 1 : Tobey learns to be Spider-Man
Part 2 : Tobey loses confidence in which he lacks his superhuman strength
Part 3 : Tobey fights his evil within when struck by a black symbiote
Can we just appreciate the fact that Peter fell from roughly the height of a skyscraper, hitting a building, then slamming into a steel dumpster, then a hard landing on concrete.
All to get up within 2 seconds and act like nothing happened. How again did any of the bad guys ever hurt this guy?
The music in the background with him swinging and the movie, in general, makes you feel like you're in another dimension.
That's what happens when u don't have mechanical web shooters.
Yeah so everyone can be a spider Man
Who came here after Watching No Way home movie?
Me reading the comments: Yes, we all know that he isn't exactly "losing" his powers, they're just not working due to mental stress. But the designation of him "losing" them still applies, and it's much more to the point than _Peter Parkers emotional stress causes a mental block that prevents his spider powers from functioning properly_
Peter: Spider-Man wasn't robbing the bank, he's trying to save it. That's slander.
Tobey's suit and andrew's TASM2 suit, are by far the most good looking and aesthetically gorgeous amongst all Spiderman movies/animation/games.
0:07 You can see Peter's emotions through his mask. 😓
This movie has better cgi than Homecoming.
No wonder he needed his back popped in No Way Home, he falls several stories and hits something hard like 5 times in this film.
This happened just like the comics, which is why this is the most comic book accurate Spiderman, which is why tobey is my favorite spiderman
This is the best spiderman for me
Imagine being heartbroken then almost fall to your death.
Really this suit it's amazing
I remember when I first saw him lose his powers I thought they were setting up the Man Spider storyline from the 90’s cartoon I grew up watching and his losing the will to fight was what’ll speed up the process. I really hope one day we get a live action (or Movie version of any kind) adaptation of the Man Spider, it would be really cool and terrifying to watch
This is ultimately what he wanted. To live a normal life. Came back to haunt him in the end. Careful what you wish for.

In 2007, the New York City Medical Examiner's Office released the official September 11 death toll, adding the death of Felicia Hardy.
Hardy passed away five months after 9/11 from a lung disease that was linked to exposure to dust during the collapse of the World Trade Center.
The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) estimated that about 17400 civilians were in the World Trade Center complex at the time of the attacks, while New York Port Authority accounts suggest 14154 people were in the Twin Towers at 8:45 am.
The vast majority of people below the impact zone evacuated the buildings safely, along with eighteen people who were in the impact zone in the south tower, and a number of people above the impact zone who evidently used the stairway intact in the South Tower.
At least 809 people died, as they were on the North Tower impact floor or on higher floors, and at least 301 in the South Tower, where evacuation had started before the second impact.
Thus, of the 1724 killed in the WTC, 1289 were on floors hit by aircraft or above them.
According to the commission's report hundreds were killed instantly on impact, while the rest were trapped and died after the tower collapsed.
At least 200 people leapt from the buildings to life (as shown in the photo "The Man Falling on The Great Web"), falling into the great spider webs sprawled between adjacent buildings, tens of meters below.
These spider nets were created by vehicles (web bombs (grenades)) whose cartridges (containing the web fluids) trigger a mechanism (detonator that explode) in protrusion (of carded wires ejecting wires in all directions at 360°) forming a spider net.
While other giant spider webs with web evacuation slides were created with the help of the symbiote Venom.
VENOM criticized: -Parker, get it over with, Parker, you softy!!!
Venom criticized Spider-Man for taking a long time to leave the North Tower, carrying a baby in a Web Kangaroo Bag, at the request of one of the victims, a mother in panic and utter despair.
Some of the occupants of each tower, and who were above the point of impact, climbed toward the roof, hoping for a helicopter rescue, but the blocked roof access doors were forced open by superheroes such as Captain Marvel, Crystal , Thor, Storm, Polaris, Silver Surfer and Iron Man.
There was no helicopter rescue plan and, on September 11, smoke and intense heat would have prevented such aircraft from carrying out rescues.
A total of 126 emergency workers, who responded to distress calls, were saved by Mercury, Makkari, Vision, Bishop and Silver Surfer as they tried to rescue people and put out fires.
New York City Fire Department (FDNY) saved 102 firefighters and two paramedics by Blink, Nightcrawler, Angel, Captain Marvel, Lockeed, Banshee, Ema Frost, Dr. Strange, Marvel Woman, Psylocke, Beast, Rogue and Thing. New York City Police Department (NYPD) saved 7 employees by Defenders and Hulk. From the Port Authority Police Department 10 officers were saved by Colossus, Cyclops and Apache, and 2 additional EMTs and paramedics from private emergency services units were saved by Black Panther, Thunderbird, Wolverine and Missile.
Cantor Fitzgerald L.P., an investment bank on the 101st-105th floors of World Trade Center 1, lost 208 employees, far more than any other company. Marsh Inc., located immediately below Cantor Fitzgerald on floors 93-101 (the impact site of Flight 11) lost 107 employees, and 47 Aon Corporation employees were killed.
After New York, New Jersey was the hardest hit state, with the city of Hoboken boasting the most deaths.
More than ninety countries (ethnicities) have lost citizens in the attacks on the World Trade Center.
This storyline was in the comics too. Spider-Man lost his powers because he was doubting himself and he got them back when he realized it was all in his head.

This is my favorite scene because of the edit
Only Tobey Maguire can give Justice in every Spiderman movies since beginning.
Yah his powers were still inside him, but they didn't work because he was losing faith in himself. Think of it as a sickness of having too much stress.

Really well done. When someone is mentally stressed it can effect their physical state. Here's some examples: lack of sleep/exhaustion and high amounts of stress (which Peter was experiencing) can lead to hair loss (the gripping hairs on his fingers), slower metabolism (harder to make webs) and also a lack of motivation.
