Also did you have to cut the wires to remove the damper housing that goes to the freezer thermostat? Mine seems to be connected to wires by the damper so I can't remove the housing in the refrigerator

I’ve got a problem with a kitchenaid fridge When you close the freezer side you don’t feel blowing through the vent but when you open it does same issue refrigerator side not cooling
Can anyone tell me where the defrost timer switch is on a Frigidaire FFHS2611LWMA is located? Is it in the refrigerator? My freezer keeps freezing up. And ice builds up and water starts to drip and ice forms behind the ice maker. Is that a water line issue or what do people think? My refrigerator doesn't seem to have a problem with the fresh food side though. I am getting tired of defrosting my freezer every month or so. Thanks for the info, if u happen to see this. -J
