You should do more laptop reviews. Your automated battery/speed tests with the robot gives the best real life estimates. Also 8 hours browsing is more realistic. Never understood how people get 15+ hours on their m series macbooks
Okay, but this Honor Magicbook is going to be insane when it gets outfitted with Lunar Lake CPUs. Battery life on par with ARM chips but without having to deal with emulation? Insane.
This is sponsored so you have to accept that this will not dwell on the negatives. Every single review of this laptop is sponbsored and copy and paste.
The Magic it's better in almost every conceivable metric while being lighter, larger, actively cooled but also more expensive. Although I suppose if you compare it to a Macbook Air with the same RAM and SSD the prices would be more fair. Plus you can, you know, upgrade the SSD…
This is currently priced closer to the MacBook Pro M4 Pro with 24GB/512GB than a MB Air. So I would easily choose the more efficient and significantly faster Mac. But if you are a Windows devotee and will not buy a Mac even if it is vastly superior as they have been for the last four years then there are better value Windows ultrabooks out there.
Finally decided to upgrade from my m1 MacBook Air but not really since it’s windows. Keeping both amazingly thin devices. That OLED touchscreen is too good to pass up for a new MacBook. 💻
Calm down buddy. It's not like he's trying to convince you to buy the 60hz. 120hz is great, but not everyone can fully notice, and appreciate the extra smoothness.
For that price, comparing to a macbook air isn't a fair comparison as which can go as low as half the price of this laptop. I'd compare it to a base macbook pro.
It's actually pretty comparable to the MacBook Air in price when you factor in the 1 TB SSD and 32 GB of RAM. In terms of form factor, the MacBook Pro is just too different.
A macbook pro with 1Tb and 32gb of RAM costs around 2600€. This honor magicbook costs 1500€ at the moment. Plus a free honor tab 9 and wireless headphones.
I wish that there was an option that the smartphones did the same webcam implementation like the laptop in this video but with usb c. I also wish that laptop displays were 1,000 nits as a standard for better visibility when being used with bright lights or when a laptop is being used when there are a lot of lights being used and for better outdoor visibility since 500 nits are too dim. Any device that uses a display including smart glasses, portable external monitors that are the same form factor as a laptop should be 1,000 nits as the standard for the reasons that I already have explained. You can always turn down the brightness if you consider 1,000 nits too bright. There are some laptops and smart glasses that have 1,000 nits so it's possible but it's not available as an option for all devices.
I can't take any reviewer talking about a non Apple device seriously if all the end up using is Apple devices. Why you speak so good about other devices if all you end up choosing is Apple devices? It feel just like the money of your sponsor talking.
Well the design is a nearly replica of the Huawei matebook x pro 2024 even the materials are copied the only difference is the Webcam and the portability sich is better on the Huawei
That webcam is so clever!
All laptops need to do it this way.
97% screen
1% bezel
2% honor logo
The cam is super innovative
So smart.
To be fair, I seen this one before, I forgot what model is but Lenovo has it first.

For 1700€? I don't think I've ever seen better value on a laptop
It's a contender for sure.
It's 1700€ not 700
@@Goku-pw5cc I wrote 1 700 with the space as the thousand separator, sorry for the confusion
It has Snapdragon CPU - majority of professional software will have to be emulated, which means that performance is garbage. It's a shame.
No dedicated GPU ?
You are now my favorite tech reviewer. Just straight to the point no nonsense.
Thanks!
"Thanks to Honor for sponsoring this video" - didn't this used to be called advertising?
The camera, a 120Hz display, plus a battery up par w the MB Air make this a total winner. So impressed by it.
One of my favorites right now.

Definitely planning on covering more laptops!
Waiting for jerryrig to test this laptop
All I can say is wow! ❤🔥
Love your videos man ❤
I never thought of that webcam design. Genius.
Okay, but this Honor Magicbook is going to be insane when it gets outfitted with Lunar Lake CPUs. Battery life on par with ARM chips but without having to deal with emulation? Insane.
Why not compare benchmark scores when you compare everything else?
This is sponsored so you have to accept that this will not dwell on the negatives. Every single review of this laptop is sponbsored and copy and paste.
We did compare benchmark scores. You may have missed it.
Anywhere to buy this in the United States
No direct channels, unfortunately, but there may be third-party retailers that ship to the U.S.
Got one on eBay for $1800, shipping from Greater China. 🇨🇳
cheapest option is Aliexpress
When you have to find the webcam just before a meeting. 🤣 It's pretty neat though.

He compared the M3 which is last gen. At that price point, he could have compared it to the M3 Pro MB which completely changes the game
@@davout5775 The M3 is the latest gen you can currently get with the MacBook Air.
Except it is not priced even remotely similar. The honor is 1500€ here and the pro goes for 2k upwards@@andyH_England
I saw the comments about the webcam, and I thought they were all just kidding, but damn, it is so smart.
Finally decided to upgrade from my m1 MacBook Air but not really since it’s windows. Keeping both amazingly thin devices. That OLED touchscreen is too good to pass up for a new MacBook. 💻
2:57 That's the dumbest statement I have ever heard. Everyone can see a difference between 120Hz and 60Hz...
Your statement is easily falsifiable. I've spoken with several people who can't tell the difference.
@DavidRahimi-jr1hn I mostly don't believe them. I do not belive that that many people have such disability to notice motion.
Calm down buddy. It's not like he's trying to convince you to buy the 60hz. 120hz is great, but not everyone can fully notice, and appreciate the extra smoothness.
This is not a review, it's a sponsored video, aka an advertisement.
New computer speed test series?
Bro, you forgot about the price?!?!
It depends on the region, but it's roughly €1700.
Hello support, I lost my webcam 🙋🏻♂️
Then u must be very careless
😂
@@HomiebeaR_ This was a joke because I have a MacBook. 😂
My dream windows laptop ♥️
One question. How is the reflectivity of the display compared to macbook? This laptop is very solid overall.
I'd say it's a bit more reflective than the MacBook Air, but we haven't done any official reflectivity tests yet.
For that price, comparing to a macbook air isn't a fair comparison as which can go as low as half the price of this laptop. I'd compare it to a base macbook pro.
That is correct and Amazon have £250 off the MB Pro 14 M4 Pro at the moment which brings it close in price so the Mac kills this in most metrics.
It's actually pretty comparable to the MacBook Air in price when you factor in the 1 TB SSD and 32 GB of RAM. In terms of form factor, the MacBook Pro is just too different.
i guess the keyboard, touchpad, and all the ports are part of the screen then
there is a benchmark for browsers you know
Seems a promising product
MacBook Air looks like a museum piece compared to Huawei in terms of technology 😏🙂
Given the price difference, this is supposed to be MB Pro comparison not MB air.
Given the 1 TB SSD and 32 GB of RAM, it's about the same as the MacBook Air.
@DavidRahimi-jr1hn These have nothing to do with performance
A macbook pro with 1Tb and 32gb of RAM costs around 2600€. This honor magicbook costs 1500€ at the moment. Plus a free honor tab 9 and wireless headphones.
Still not available in the UK for some reason
Hopefully soon.
Bro has a very good relationship with honor😂

I don't know why they didn't use the tandem oled used by their sister company, Huawei in their matebook that reach 1000 nits
It seems like putting the camera under the display itself is the path for smartphones given the limited internal space.
How much displays are supported?
So how do you get to the USA
It would have to be through a retailer that does international shipments.
Enough of these Chinese ads.
any links to the wallpapers?
Can ARM run Archicad and twinmotion?

Btw graphics were set to fast instead of fancy,
Lost me at Snapdragon. ARM compatibility is just not there for Windows on ARM. Not even the whole Adobe Suite, hardly very "Art"
They also have a variant with an Intel chip.
that isnt even close to 97%,
HONOR magicbook art 14 vs samsung book 5 pro 360
100% will be better in my opinion.
Nobody willing to spend that much money will buy this over a macbook
People spend more on non-MacBooks all the time.
Camera is not 4k
1080p.
you can't buy in the usa..
Not directly from Honor, unfortunately. You can get it through third party retailers.
Pass

thats literally just a macbook with a Honor logo...
Nice device
Honor’s service in India is pathetic.
Yess
It's a macbook air clone. If I wanted a macbook air, I'd buy a macbook air not this
