  • The Blazer got no love this year. Took it for a couple quick rides this year but didn't do any Gambler 500 or offroad events with it. The last little joyride with the family it started running extra terrible and wouldn't make it up the hill. Now it's a moldy mess that won't start at all and I'm wondering if the 4.3 is finally toast.
I was waiting for something catastrophic to fail before doing the LS swap, frame swap, solid axle swap and SM465 swap. If I can get the 4.3 to run I'll keep pounding on it until it breaks in half. Let's see what happens.

It's a pretty decent winter beater!

Priming the fuel pumps on these trucks is weird. When you cycle the key on, and off, you have to wait like 5 seconds before you cycle it on. Another thing you can do is jump the relay (pins 30 to 87) and it’ll run full time, Those style of injectors need to have a lot of pressure to work. My Bravada has given me fuel delivery issues because of dumb things like weak batteries and sitting making them extra picky to open. They also liked to get stuck open when first started. The newer MPI injectors solve these issues.

Yeah the spider injection on these is junk. Weak fuel pressure is probably why it's been running terrible for a long time. I'm gonna put in a pump that will run the LS and see if the 4.3 comes back to life

I'm starting to gather the rest of what I need for the SAS and that frame I bought already has everything I need for the LS swap. Just need some time😬
