Just because I don't comment to each of your fantastic videos doesn't mean I don't watch them; I do. You two, sorry three are so compelling. Thanks again. P.
@ 0:28 a tip for cleaning your stove glass. In the morning after a burn (when its cold) use a folded piece of kitchen roll (1" wide) wet one end, dip the wet bit in the WOOD ash & gently clean the glass, fold the end over to remove the gunk, fold & repeat, fold & repeat etc Do NOT do this if you use briquettes ONLY with real wood :)
Thanks for another great video. we always enjoy your tales of the Cornish coastline and anchorages. I have family in the area and we got married in the church St. Just on the Roseland that you featured a few seasons ago. Great to see Nick out and about on Wylo II in your first anchorage shot. (I sailed with Nick many moons ago on his first Wylo on his 1st world voyage). We have a Wylo II design boat here in Massachusetts, out of the water at the moment. Thanks for so many great videos. Hoping to one day make use of your wonderful Anchorage resource if we can bring Tuatara back across the pond . Cathy and Morten
I really like your videos. Right up there with Sail Life and maybe one other channel at the top of my favorites. I don't understand why you don't have more subscribers, people are missing out.
Absolutely love your videos, your getting so good at them, the music the vibe it takes me off to another place 😉 I keep my boat at St Mawes for the summer, I haven’t explored much where can u recommend? I love snorkelling and diving and fishing and I’ve fallen in love with the place it’s a bit of a drive every weekend from Cardiff but we’ll worth it 👍👍 thanks for videos I bloody love em 😍
The best way to clean the glass on your wood stove heater (10:28) is with newspaper dunked in water and then dunked in the ash of the fire in the same stove and rub it on the glass. Might need several sheets of ashy newspaper (must be newspaper, not any other paper or cloth). When clean, polish with wet newspaper without ash to remove😅 the ash remnants. Leave all newspaper used in the fireplace to dry and then use it to start the next fire! Probably best to use fresh water, although I haven’t tried it with seawater to know the difference.
Cracking video, as always. Try cleaning your wood stove glass with spray bottle acid descaler, works a treat. Might need a little gentle persuasion with an old scotch bright type scourer. Give it a go.
As an idea for a future video, how about an update on Project 365? How are the wood and diesel heaters working for you now that winter temps have arrived? Are you able to keep your batteries full with your solar setup? Also, how do you deal with black and grey water? Can you pump waste overboard in English waters? Your videos are so well made, so interesting and I’m so thankful you are sharing your journey with us!
Another great video😊 My fiance and I were going to buy a boat and leave for warmer climates, but your videos gave us reason to second guess that, even if only for a season or two. Thanks for sharing.
Looks great!!! You seem to be doing well on batteries with a freezer! What wet suit do you swim in? Mine is no where near as flexible and my shorty too cold.
It’s ok, I already did. Had a permit for it in Devon and non was needed in Cornwall. It’s fine there. Although technically my hookah isn’t scuba gear, but that would be a grey area argument perhaps but luckily it was all perfectly legal and again I checked that long before getting in the water 👌🏼👍🏽
Wow! I notice you carry quite a lot of weight on your person when hunting! Dependent upon the type of thermal protection you wear I guess. Great video as always!
@@CadohaAdventures yes I understand! I am a scuba instructor and teach my students how to relax and eventually reduce weight. But bone density and whether the suit is new or older really makes a difference. New suits retain lots more micro air bubbles. Which of course you must counteract with weight. Of course you’ve probably noticed the deeper you are. The less of a struggle it is to remain submerged. I’m certainly not criticizing the amount of weight you carry. Buoyancy control comes with time. The more you dive the easier it becomes. Great videos by the way!
Definately not filmed in November (which i understand the reasons) but rest assured next time you return there will be 30+ visiting yachts anchored in your beautiful secret cove. Only joking!
My health and safety alarms were going out during your dive tbh. Wearing all that lead around your waist, means that if anything happened to you down there to incapacitate you, you wouldn't float to the surface, and in the worse case you could never be found. Sorry I am such a worry wort.
True, but if I didn’t have that weight on then I couldn’t get down there in the first place with that wetsuit on. The reality is that I shouldn’t dive alone if I want my body to be found and more often than not I have Carly with me now when I’m out, so hopefully with the hookah system she can I’ll be able to retrieve me if something goes wrong. 🙏🏼😬
Nice to see you have the “ultimate bare bones cruiser” Nick Skeates on Wylo sharing your anchorage in St Mawes 👍

You had me checking that the car alarm wasnt going off 😂
Absolutely beautiful, on land and below the surface.

The amazing places you find , thank you both for the season of videos .👍👍🐶👍

Lovely music!
My favorite sailing channel. IMHO better than Doodles and Delos!
Your videos are relaxing to watch!
Did anyone else hear the car alarm going off on the underwater shots at 6:15+?
If not, can I claim the prize? 😂😂
Ha ha, that was the hookah alarm to say my air was running out. 😬
Had me looking outside as I thought someone was pinching my car 😂😂😂
Didn't notice a sign, was that Trebah Garden? One of our favourite places in Cornwall.
Great WW2 story behind it aswell.

Purchasing the boat is the easy bit, maintenance and upkeep is the biggest financial overhead.
Great to hear! Best of luck with the upcoming adventures.
Fantastic, thanks for sharing.

haven't seen you snag fish recently...do you do that as well as the lobster and crab?
lol, I saw that first skyline and thought 'that must be St Mawes', seems I was right
Hank is making his Vizsla cousins very jealous. He is living a great life!!!
You might want to check the local regulations regarding taking lobster while scuba diving. It's illegal here in Ireland, ok if snorkeling

yes it's a 6mm wetsuit and I struggle to get down with any less weight.

A secret is something you tell one person and one person only....otherwise it’s no secret anymore...fair winds be safe.
Ok dom I let the ads run to get you some cash

It'll be great to see a few boats there.
Don't you two get sick of eating lobster, crab and fresh fish?
Don't forget scallops too 😋
I don't know, that'd be a bit like asking a vegan if they ever get tired of eating vegetables 😬
Time to remove my tongue from my cheek then.@@CadohaAdventures
Please find another way for me to purchase you a drink, I want nothing to do with paypal in any shape or form.
Fair enough..... I've been hearing a lot about this new Bitcoin thing if that works?
@@CadohaAdventures The details that are on the bottom of any bank account cheque would be sufficient plus payee name.
All im am saying is investigate other payment methods and VERY best wishes for 2024 sailing season.
Ive used Paypal for over a decade never had a problem
