The biography of our Holy Prophet (ﷺ - Peace be Upon Him) you were talking about is called "The Sealed Nectar" which is an English translation of "Ar-Raheeq Al-Makhtum" by Safiur Rahman Mubarakpuri. The other, more critically acclaimed one "Muhammad: His Life Based on the Earliest Sources" by a British author Martin Lings is also a recommended read.
What you said about verifying news is very profound. This is what God says in Quran, 49:6 - "Believers, if a troublemaker brings you news, check it first, in case you wrong others unwittingly and later regret what you have done,"

Loved the reaction! One of the best videos that are about the life of prophet muhammad saw is by muhammad hijab “mini seerah- introduction to prophet muhammad”. It’s around 1.5hrs long which is very very short because most lectures are hours and hours long. You can listen to it in the car or when you work out or when you’re on the go.

The Sheikh you're talking about, his name is Khalid Yasin. He was raised Christian, but reverted to Islam later. He is very knowledgeable about Islam now and we born-Muslims learn from him.

19:30 I'm pretty sure the book you seek is called "The Sealed Nectar" (الرحيق المختوم) which Documents the whole life of Prophet Muhammad citing various sources. (We had that book at home, but I never read the whole thing.)
The book you were talking about is The Sealed Nectar.. it's a translation of a prize winning seerah (prophet's biography) book in Arabic, Al Raheeq Al Makhtoum.
There is a seerah by Martin Ling named Muhammad - His Life based on Earliest Sources.. which I have heard is west friendly because it's written by a westner convert.

The book "The Sealed Nectar" is an excellent book (biography of the prophet Muhammed PBUH) that is well worth reading, I'm reading it again with my 11 year old and she is learning so much and enjoying it.

Dear brother, I think one of the most comprehensive lecture series on the life of Prophet Muhammad SAW is by Dr. Yasir Qadhi titled Seerah of the Prophet on UA-cam. 114 lectures altogether, each lecture is about 1hr 15 min. It covers from the history of Arabia until the death of the Prophet SAW. If you prefer reading a book, then a book by Dr Martin Lings is a good start. Good Luck.
Asalam Alaikum, I would advise you not to recommend/watch his content as he has made statements that are not in alignment with Islam. Such as allowing shirk i.e asking for intercession from the dead, saying that he doesn’t believe in ya’jooj ma’jooj etc.
If you go on UA-cam you can find videos refuting him and calling him out for making false statements about Islam and misleading people. I will say, all his content is not faulty, however it’s better to not watch it at all as a lay-muslim may get confused. Islam is greater than him, don’t fall into the trap of supporting these scholars who go against the Quran, Sunnah and the Salaf As Saliheen.

a great suggestion is the 1976 movie "the message" but it only cover his prophethood(after he turnd 40) but it cover the main events & the wars that u questioned & for the details keep in mind that the prophet peace be upon him is the most documented person in history so u can find first person reports about every thing about him from the way he eat, sleep & even the way u enter the bathroom

There are many seerah series’s on youtube, the best is Qalam institutes’s 200 video one but it is a podcast, Yasir Qadi’s 100 video one is also rly good. Mufti Menk has a 30 part one but it isn’t as detailed. There are also animated ones for kids but they may or may not have inaccuracies. I think Shaykh Bilal Assad may have one and although I haven’t watched it, all of his lectures are amazing so I would recommend it.
