Practice up your wire working skills with this PotomacBeads tutorial. Learn how to simply create the fashionable Stackable Wire Gemstone Bangle.
1.Cut 12 inches of 18ga wire. Leaving about an inch tail, use pliers to bend the wire into a little loop. Hold the loop with the pliers and coil the tail around the base of the loop. Trim the end. Add a seed bead and slide it down to the loop.
2.Watch the Stackable Wire Gemstone Bangle tutorial to see how Allie uses wire to space the beads apart on the bangle bracelet.
3.Once the beads are all in position, add a last seed bead. Use pliers to bend the wire 90 degrees at the bead. Bend the wire over a sharpie to get a round loop. Use the pliers to create a little teardrop shape at the end of the loop, forming a hook.
The Stackable Wire Gemstone Bangle is so fun and easy to make, you’ll want to make a whole pile of them. You can use your favorite gemstones to mix and match for the perfect look.

What I really like about your techniques and beautiful bangle designs is they're quite straightforward, also not requiring more than basic tools, not necessary to use hammers, mandrels, etc., unless as you implied, we prefer to use them. These are great for people like me with hand arthritis, but who still would like to create wire bangles. I've also recently gone back a few years to other bangles you've made, and enjoyed those, too. Thank you so much, Allie!
Easy but beautiful. Thanks much.
I haven't tried doing wire wrapping. This looks like a fun way to start. Easy and clear instructions, thank you🙂
Wgat lovely bracelets! I must try this. Really gorgeous! Thanks so much!
You're always welcome :)
Absolutely love this. Can't wait to make it.. I have gem chips that would work and look great using this design. Thank you!

Beautiful, easy, and fun! I would gently hammer the hook and loop with a chasing hammer to work-harden them a little. Thanks for the great ideas and instructions!
Simple but beautiful! 💜

Amezing best of luck💕👍
I love this bangle. I'm into wire work now.
Such a cute idea. I love it. I have all this wire and didn’t know what to with it. NOW…I have a use. Thanks. I also added a charm onto the hook to give it a lil something extra. Thank you!
You are so welcome!
Great idea. Thx
Very sweet gemstone bangles. Thanks so much Allie. 💖
These are beautiful and look easy. My type of project right now.
I just noticed the "worn by designer" section in the description. Thank you! I have often wondered about the jewelry you wore in your videos. Now I can find it easily. Great video!
Hi Kathy, where is the worn by designer?
@@lisaarmstrong3428 In the description under the materials list.
Yes! Thank you!
@@kathytaylor1613 thanks for your time Kathy
I love your videos thank you for making them ❤️
Ive been waiting for this tutorial since the Twitch bc she didnt give measurements then. But the Pebble's aka JellyBeans...lol are awesome. I have been making rings like she showed or was wearing. Theseare so much fun....and addicting. Youll be able to make bunches.
I love this method and tutorial. It really inspires you to utilize different colors and even different beads. I really like the ring your wearing Allie...can you do a little tutorial onvthat? I love wire rings but don't necessarily know how to make a lot if different looks to them. The one bead method is cute. I'd make one for myself since you know that I love rings. Would you please?
Very nice.
Thank you
Thank you for this video it was very helpful! I was wondering what size wire you would use to wrap healing stones without holes in them? I got my girls some and they didn't come wrapped and they wanted to wear them on a necklace.
🔥🔥🔥
How would that work with 8 & 10mm round gemstone beads? Love this idea! You make that wrapped loop look so easy!😊
I must have used ‘wrong’ wire…the wire I used has begun to tarnish😳
Yep! Definitely
I tried this on memory wire, but I only used one ring. It's slightly less secure than I would prefer. Have any of you beaders tried adding a clasp to memory wire? I know it kind of misses the point, BUT it might also be a good use for those extra partial memory wire loops I always end up with??
