Why we use ?!! It's so simple because they are the best! I have AK cyclic GTX and for me it is the best hardshell jacket, it is a true waterproof and high quality jacket. Very soon I am going to buy an other version of AK model, it will be GTX 3L Pro version. Yes it is pretty expensive but for me it is the 'Maybach' among the hardshells. Well done Burton 👍👌
for resort riding, arround 30º F, need a good insulation midlayer or cyclid jacket and pants can keep warm whit just an merino baselayer in that conditions? could u tell your body specs? (chest, waist, hip) I'm buyin online and have no shop near by me to test sizes. congrats for the videos!!
Yup and the best $2000 you'll ever spend. As he said it's an investment but worth it. I just replaced my AK 3L jacket after 14 seasons of abuse, but it'll still keep using it as a backup, for camping, etc.

You mean the inbuilt glove liners equiv? Burton sell them for next to nothing but with gloves on surely they’re not needed? Both my Arcteryx jackets don’t have them.
@@johnsheikh3831 Fair enough. Can see why useful, but all ski/boarding gloves I’ve used (BD, Burton, QS, etc) have pullcord gaiters and go over the sleeves anyway. If prefer inside sleeves can just tighten Velcro cuffs?
@@DesignRobPearce yea not really sure. I just know what the intended purpose is. I honestly don’t use them very often it’s just nice to have on those pow days.
The ak 2l lz down coat is my jam. Love that thing.
Started wearing AK swash, great quality

Great review! What would you recommend wearing under the Cyclic bid for Japan?

How tall are you? would be nice to know for the Jacket fit! :)
5'8" 175 LBS
Cant decide between the Helium Iso Jacked and the Baker Ultralight as a Midlayer...
What would you recommend?
we all use the Baker!
For the average resort rider, which jacket would you recommend?
AK Cyclic or Airblaster beast Series!
Nice but the whole fit is like 2000$

Lifetime warranty so it’s worth it
Good review but now you have to save up for pants!!! Always next season!
Did you ever compare AK to other brands like Arc'teryx ?
Potentially , they have not sent us anything - We do have a review of the new Jones 3L coming soon !
What song is in the intro?

what's your weight/height for reference?
Just got a 23 Cyclic jacket... stoked that I spent $430 USD for a jacket that doesn't even have wrist gaitors.
Sounds like Nate should have done some research before his big purchase. The Swash and Hover both have wrist gaiters

@@DesignRobPearce they are so ur sleeves stay close to the glove to prevent snow coming in.

That color is as ugly as homemade sin.
