He should learn a lesson from this. Not everyone is compatible. My advice is that he should take blind and/or first dates out for a cup of coffee or tea and discuss core values, belief systems, attitudes, and behaviors to make certain there is a cultural alignment. One good thing is that she gets exposed for her ridiculous behavior on this date. He should have just pick a nice reasonable restaurant to eat on his own. She was totally rude.
I, female, insist blind dates be more of a dutch treat meet and great for a desert or a soda. It is so much more comfortable to spend $10 and chat than sit next to a stranger in a movie and not interact.
This guy is an awkward weirdo and the girl is a total user and jerk! (She didn't need to pick such an expensive restaurant and then call him out by name). And do NOT go on a movie on a first date - awkward and unnecessary. Two bad people.
I'm a traditional girl, but I think on a blind date, both should pay for themselves. And any time ive been asked out, we chose the place together or he chose. This girl seems pretty proud of herself for conning him out of an expensive meal. She sounds infufferable.
I would suggest a nice reastaurant, the thing is he doesn't get out much, that is understandable, why would any girl want to go out with him? her friends really stuffed up or they were noit real friends, anyone can see at a glance what a loser he is.
A first date should be something simple like coffee or a drink not an entire night out. I think the judge made the right decision, however there are some women that will go out with anyone JUST for a free night out which is despicable.
I would encourage every man to avoid "dinner and a movie" on a first date. Try a picnic in a park, a game of pickleball , a day at a lazy river float park, a day at a flea market, anything but "dinner and a movie"....be unique and stand out....be memorable not standard and typical....and definitely no drinks
Those are activity dates & not appropriate for a first date. Dinner & a movie is a classic date. Being a blind date, a meet up at a coffee house would be a better way to get to know someone & keep it to an hour. Having dinner & a film is long date.
@mtngrl5859 I agree that a hour long coffee date would also be appropriate but the "classic" date of dinner and a movie is really uncomfortable, especially for a lot of women. Being active...like a stroll through the local aquarium or zoo, creates an environment for refuge if needed but it also creates many moments of movement....you're not stuck sitting across the table from a stranger and you're not sitting in a dark room next to that same stranger. Besides...men who are more creative definitely stand out in the crowd. First dates don't have to cost a lot but should be memorable regardless
dinner or lunch seems like a good first date to me, but the bad thing about a movie for a first date is that for 2 hours, you can't talk and get to know the other person.
Why? she didn't act like a jerk, she even paid for the awful movie he wanted to see. Maybe if he had half a clue things would have been different, did he think that just paying for the meal gave him the right to expect her to come across. No wonder she was bored and had the date from hell, he really is a clueless nerde, "I don't go out often" no, really I wonder why? so I have one question, why did her friends set her up with such a loser?
That’s why you don’t go to dinner on a first date, and blind date to top it off, you go for coffee, for a walk in the park; short , sweet and nobody gets hurt….
Such a patient judge with great advice. The man should have said the restaurant was too expensive and went to an affordable place, or diner. The guy should know he should walk on road side of street to protect gurl. Why care if she said no to popcorn. He should know to open doors. I could care less about chair. Shes wrong for being on phobe in theater and posting his name on social media. If her steak wasnt right, just have waiter fix. She was a user to want an expensive steak on first date.. You should have picked movie together. If restaurant was bad, why go to movie. Ask to go home. They act like children.
What if everyone who ever went on a bad date sued? The court system would be backed up for many many years. I agree with Judge Porter. If he didn’t have the money to go to that restaurant, then maybe they should have gone to a restaurant in his price range. It was rude of her to be on her phone complaining at the movie. Why did they even continue on with the date?
She's A terible person. She didn't like him fine, but posting his name? He did pay for the food. The least she could have done was NOT POST HIS NAME. I disagree with the Judge (retired attorney here) she went out of her way to embarass her, he said it even his family and friends found out. The judge should have at least told her that. That is a new trend online, women posting nasty things about men that are wasting money paying for their food. Any one can check that dozens of videos of that kind. And they always pick expensive places. I'm a woman but that is wrong.
I agree the guy had no case but this woman is a horrible person. And this is a trend these days of going out, ordering the most expensive thing on the menu and then going online to trash the guy. Horrible, horrible woman but no case. Take the woman out for an ice cream cone or something but do not spend big on a dinner that is not appreciated. She should have offered to pay at least for her meal if she hated being with him so much.
Oh IDK, I suspect family and other friend (at least one we know of) might already have known the facts of life about this mop head. And then he whine about the ruling? "Totally unfair". He's a whiner. Someone give him the GOP hotline number, they need more whiners. SHE escaped a fate worse than a bad movie.
Thank goodness you do not serve on the bench. She was rude etc BUT what cause of action would he have against her for her being a lousy date and posting on social media? Stop being woke. The law ain’t woke. Go study the law before commenting. 😂😂
This can't be for real. Suing someone for a date??? Posting a TicToc stating you had a date with someone, naming him, and telling everyone he's terrible??? They're both ridiculous.
The red head! ‘Outburst’ IMMEDIATELY like a child says ‘sorry’! I loved that! That’s how I act. I get mad and immediately apologize. I’m probably going to watch that at least 3 more times! It made me laugh!
Hold on let's reverse this. I blame him because if she was a pain in the ass why take her to the movies why not leave from there.. oh I know why. He was hoping she would've put out.
Agree. Although suing her for the cost of the restaurant was ridiculous. I also think she should have been ordered to take down the TikTok things that she said about him...
If you thought she complained too much why go to the movies and sit the popcorn on your lap and then cry because she didn't show interest. She didn't show interest at the restaurant but hey she might have put out.. the price is in the pudding
Since he invited her to an expensive place for the first date, he took a certain risk of spending money and going home alone.. The first date should be to know each other. Maybe a coffee date or have a drink or two.
I agree with the judge that the time for him to complain about the price of the restaurant was when she suggested it. He should have immediately said that this restaurant was out of his price range and offered a substitute where they could go eat. He said he didn't get out much and I think that is obvious. He is something of a nerd in my opinion but SHE seems like an entitled princess and NO ONE would be good enough for her. They absolutely were not compatible and they never should even TRIED to go out together. BTW, her camping out on her phone during the date showed extreme bad taste and showed how rude she was.
This is very important lesson. This should teach us that we should always do something like a background check if we see someone that looks nice but not sure. I am guilty of blocking people for making jokes and predicting like psychics. It is very true that we all do need a good sense of humor. Many times you turn on the news, you hear things like greedy corporations, greedy politicians that support them, and shootings! Almost thousands of reports of shootings appearing on the news and we need a break from all of that.
It was all about calling her out for her bad behaviour on a date, and then slandering him on her social media accout with his name. Not about he got nothing!! At least he made the effort.
The patrons of the MOVIE should be suing for the price of admission because of HER texting on TicTok DURING THE MOVIE.... A HARSH penalty is warranted for THAT breach of decency!!! Just sayin'.;-)
My daddy always did that when we went walking together. He would ALWAYS walk on the outside as a gentleman to protect me. I noticed and realized what he was doing after our first walk when he would move over when we went around a corner. He's gone now and I never thanked him for teaching me that. I did the same for my Yorkies (I had one at a time). I would direct them on their leash to stay on the inside in the grass while I walked in the street to protect them. More "gentlemen" or parents need to be old school and do all they can to protect !!!!!! Even opening a door and let the lady enter first !! Now I'll watch the rest of this BS !!
Myself? I'm not an entitled woman like she is. I'm independent, confident, and a lot nicer, I think. I would even offer to pay my own way on a blind date or any other date. For her to let this go to court... says a lot about her.... in my humble opinion. By the way, if my steak wasn't done well enough, I would send it back.

Those are great ideas.
He should only have agreed to just coffee or at most a double date with the coworker and her significant other. All of this could have been avoided.
dinner or lunch seems like a good first date to me, but the bad thing about a movie for a first date is that for 2 hours, you can't talk and get to know the other person.
We Love U Judge Porter,
Awesome Show As Always‼️
Great ruling Judge Porter 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Next case: Hurricane sues Ben Mitchell for the size of the car Ben gave him.
That would be hilarious
🌀🌀🌀🌀
Actually, HER friend that hooked her up should be sued. lol
The guy is clueless, poorly mannered, and cheap. She is a rude diva. Both are ridiculous.
That lady was making Judge Porter upset
Let's not excuse her behavior
Exactly!!! She's horrible.
Why? she didn't act like a jerk, she even paid for the awful movie he wanted to see.
@@barrierodliffe4155 how do you know iT was an awful movie? You clairvoyant? She was a jersey from the start!
@@barrierodliffe4155 Be gone, simp!
Unless is an emergency call, .....IF.... You touch , answer, or look at your phone while with me ...... the meeting is OVER !!!!!
Maybe he should sue whoever dropped him on his head.
😂😂😂😂😂
LMAO 😂😂😂😂😂
I'm sure that would make a very long list!!! 😂😂😂😂
Too funny!!! 😂🤣
😂😂😂
In that situation, you're better off getting over rid of it.
Be embarrassed for that haircut!🤷🏾♀️😂😂😂
Hell yeah like fr 😂😂😂😂
I know, right?? Who was his stylist -- Lorena Bobbit??
The first few dates should be COFFEE dates!
“I’ve never been to court before for a date...”
What a whiny child! He should never date again!
I can agree ALWAYS to pay for my own meal or movie. There's no expectation that I owe them anything!
Never spend $300 on a first date, you don't know or owe them.
Bad news Judge Porter. Susan Wojcicki the CEO of UA-cam has sadly passed away!
Oh wow
May she Rest In Peace
She was the former C.E.O
Dude, Judge Porter isn't real, he's a fictional character. The actor who plays him as named Verne Alexandre.
@@thebatmanofneo-gotham5667
You mean this “case” was just an episode in a show? 😳
NO!!!!! 😱😱😱
He should do a coffee first date next time .
Recently found your site!!!! You are an honourable human being❤❤❤❤
She's A terible person. I'm a woman but that is wrong.
disagree with him for what? his job is only to determine the law, he's not the moral police
I agree with your comment that the woman was rude and did wrong!!!
I ❤❤❤ THE JUDGE is SMILING
I love the content and consistency you put out on a regular basis.
This can't be for real. Suing someone for a date??? Posting a TicToc stating you had a date with someone, naming him, and telling everyone he's terrible??? They're both ridiculous.
OMG A DATE SUING YOU FOR THE DATE REALLY??? I WOULD NEVER WANT TO BE WITH SUCH A PERSON!
That’s why he doesn’t get out much!🤦♀️🤦♀️
The red head! ‘Outburst’ IMMEDIATELY like a child says ‘sorry’! I loved that! That’s how I act. I get mad and immediately apologize. I’m probably going to watch that at least 3 more times! It made me laugh!
Ik I love her
Watching that piece on repeat 😂
Its time now for it to be the norm that the cost of dates and the organisation should fall on both.
Equal pay means equal payment.
I blame her, if he was the bad why did she go to the movies with him for., if the movie was the bad she should of walk out shouldn't she
Hold on let's reverse this.
His last name is Gamble. Should have known that you take a gamble when going out with a blind date.
If she was that RUDE to watch her Phone I would have left her there!!!
Maybe a coffee date or have a drink or two.
lol. Not only am I falling asleep while this guy explains why he is suing his blind date, the guy sitting behind him is struggling to stay awake too
Good judgement, but the woman should not have posted on media about the date. That was tasteless and rude.
She is tasteless and rude.
And has awful style
Wow dude I wouldn’t date you cuz you could sue me just for yawning lol
Amazing content. Thank you for always sharing your videos.
Never bring your "A" game on the first date. Wait to the 3rd.
That's exactly what I was thinking! Thank you! ✌️
I know these court cases are just scripted..but they're hilarious 😂
Yep! Love “Playin Them Back”😊
He didn't sue for defamation. This is why you get a lawyer.
He should have sued her for humiliating him on social media. And I do feel bad for the cow that died on this date. She should sue both of them.
I don't even known him and I'm laughing at him! 😂😂😂 Blind dates are no guarantee of happiness or marriage...
Just because you bought her a steak does not mean she owes you anything. Get a clue.
Nothing to look at... She took it as an opportunity to get a free, expensive dinner. Salad was probably the best bet for her!
The guy looks very much like the guy that sued his neighbour for crashing on her scooter that he crashed just a little bit more hair LOL
I love this tv show, the actor who plays the judge Verne Alexandre does a good job!
He just embarrassed himself by trying to sue his blind date in court on social media. Any of you ladies care to date this guy after watching this?🤔
I like actual court cases, why do i like this?
3:55 trying to hold in the laugh 😂😂
Risk of a blind date is that you may be incompatible. Suck it up, it is life.
She's just a rude brat
And I'm sorry most "strong independent woman" are just rude brats. They are neither strong or independent. Having to rely on social media shows dependency
@somethingclever8916 Don't throw me in with the 'most'. I don't need or want blind dates. ⁸I'm in a 12 year relationship. I found him when he was a homeless vet (after I broke up with a workaholic millionaire). Although my partner works as a (great) mechanic, he gets paid shit. I pay the bills. I take care of him and he takes care of me, as he can. He is worthy. So, am I. To each other. BTW, I don't do social media. I used to be an extrovert but now, I'm a introvert albeit, with 2 best girl friends, 20-30 years. Not an attention seeker.
It was a blind date. They hadn’t even met. What did he expect from the blind date?Dinner and a movie. Why did you ask her where she wanted to go if you weren’t willing to go anywhere. She wanted you to be a gentleman. He is whiny at this time. She had a horrible time and spread it around the internet
They were definitely not a good match! Message for the dude: She doesn't have to eat your popcorn! That was your idea! The judge made the right decision.
Reminds me of Darren Sherman. The dude from Jdate in 2006, who had a bad Jdate, and asked for his money back. Look this up. True case. Still on the internet. He worked for the SEC.
I am so confounded that Courts are having to deal with this kind of cases. It ludicrous that courts are wasting their time on on such matters
Suing someone because a date didn't work out marks him as a monumental loser.
I feel sorry for the guy he is so awkward. You don't sue a date. The woman is a complete jerk, rude, no class.
They guy in the background laughing was so funny
Got nothing in return ? What did he expect in return for his $280 ? The Cat !
