The yellow wire goes here and the blue wire goes here. Great explanation.
Your yellow and blue wires going into factory wires. Is that OK? The factory wires are a different gauge size. Going from big wire to smaller wire seems kinda scary.
I ask myself the same question… idk if you get more information on this..
Which wire is the one to tap into on the harness side? You keep saying harness but not a specific wire
yellow wire goes to the harness side and the blue wire goes to the pump.
He legit said the top wire on harness. You clip the wire on top, tap the blue on into the clip, then the yellow one to the harness.
I want order one!
You want one of my rewire kits
Yes where can I order it

Do u have a diagram as far as wires go ?
Hey man, so I know you’re saying yellow to the harness side. But there’s like 5 wires in the harness side. Does the yellow wire get soldered to all the harness side wires? Or just one of them?
11:18
so, there are 2 different plugs, the plug that has only 1 wire going to it that is the one you need to hook up the relay to.
Learning and got a question, what’s the reason for a 50amp relay and 25amp fuse? Would I run into issue with a 30amp relay and 30amp fuse?
You can run a 30amp fuse but the 50 amp relay is what is needed to run this setup correctly.
The music is way too loud bro, it’s very distracting. You’d get more views if you turn the music
I’m mean it’s not to loud but I do understand what you mean after watching the beginning of the video.
I installed a 525 walbro but using the factory wire will it start
Yeah, of course it will as long as everything is installed correctly
Any concerns on the amps the factory harness power cable can handle?
Curious to know also. The blade fuse on my evo 8 melted which leads me to believe the wire size is too small.
Thank you for this well, detailed explanation but I'm still lost AF! I drive an 07 Nissan Sentra and I need help! Wish u were near NC. 🤦🏾♂️
I can help walk you through the process

some recommend to change whole pump wiring + add relay to it, is it necessary?
So , i find the power wire on the fuel pump harness and then splice blue wire to plug side and yellow to harness side ?
yes, just make sure you have enough wire on the plug side so you can do a easy install.
@@cornfedevo87 okay thank you , ill be buying a kit from you soon, can i get your paypal ?

Question, So the purpose of the hardwire kit is for the pump to get the full 12V and not get voltage drop and also to stop the pump from continuously running? . Then that yellow wire that runs from the relay, you solder on to the other end of that red cable that is in that top connector of the fuel pump cradle correct?. If so that end would be powering the pump via factory harness which is spliced into the fuel pump main power plug which is the other end of that red cable you cut from that connector on the passenger side.
the red power wire is connected to the positive terminal on the battery. Then from the relay to the harness of the car to get that power from the battery. The fuse is there so if something were to happen the fuse would pop 1st and that's a easy fix. Let me know if you have any other questions
Evo fuel pump utilize dual voltage power, if using this hardwire setup wont this cause fuel overrun that will cause the engine to run rich on low fuel demand.
No, that factory wiring setup for the fuel pump will lose voltage under full boost having this kit will continue to keep 14v under boost and normal driving. Losing voltage at the fuel pump can cause lean conditions and nobody wants that.
Put a Walboro 255 on my evo 8, is this hardwire going to require a aftermarket fpr
No this hard wire is just to make sure you have a 12+ volts at all times. I have a extra FPR at my shop
Hey brother. I’m having issues with my Evo. That being, it’s experiencing some fuel cut. The FPR is set to 3bar (43.5 psi). I believe it’s because of my current rewire kit, Deatschwerks universal rewire kit. I drilled out the siphon tube and noticed I can adjust my FPR a lot better, but yet still getting fuel cut. I have a Walbro 450 and on E. I am thinking about buying your rewire kit because I’ve heard mixed things about my current DW kit. What do you think?
of course I’m going to say buy my kit lol. But before all that what boost are you running and size injectors. Also what ecu?
@@cornfedevo87 I got ID 2000cc/AEM High flow fuel rail/Fuel Lab FPR/450 Walbro/Tomei Arms 20g @28psi. Tuned my Ronnie at RS in MN.
@@MrSourPickels and when your doing a log you need to go back and check to see when it’s happening and what boost and what RPM. What ECU you on?
@@cornfedevo87 OEM 9 ecu. Don’t have Evoscan (yet).
@@MrSourPickels ok yeah I would get a laptop and run a log and see. What boost pressure and rpm does it happen?
