Forever welcome. Thank you for giving a younger west an insight into what a totalitarian world can look like. They argue about so many smaller things but the bigger issues are so much more important. Hope they're listening to this :)
@@N2Mtns2 this girl is known to be a grifter. She apparently was never poor, or as poor a she claims. Even her own mother came out and said she was lying. And let’s be honest, half of this stuff isn’t believable. Her stories and timelines aren’t always consistent as well
I just sat here in my room for 2 hours and heard this woman's story & literally came out of this room a changed human being! She opened my "spoiled brat american eyes" and now I see my life situation that I'm going through now as not really a situation. I have a roof over my head, food in my stomach and most importantly FREEDOM. This woman just changed my mindset 100%!!! Incredible just incredible.
I completely agree. Yeonmi Park is an incredible human being. Thank you Shawn for bringing out so many new details of Yeonmi’s life. I have listened to her story on a number of podcasts and you were still able to bring out new details from Yeonmi. This was a really great podcast! Thank you Yeonmi and Shawn !!
Congratulations on being awakened to true reality. Help us wake up others now that you are aware. Now that you aren't blinded by lies, you will start seeing potential and opportunities everywhere! Enjoy your new perspective and fly wherever you choose-no one can hold you back if you don't allow it;)
I literally think about this stuff anytime I catch myself complaining about my situation. “Work is too hard today” Well I could be worked to death in a prison camp without even knowing the reason I’m there. “My apartment sucks” Sure it’s not the nicest, but at least it’s clean, and safe, and I have food and water. “I don’t make enough money” I heard that North Koreans make like a dollar a week, or maybe a dollar a month. So yeah $100 a day isn’t really too bad actually
What strikes me most is her strength. She has survived such terrible things, but you can see how she presents herself, her poise, her relentless approach in telling the truth, no matter how dark it is. She has an unmatched inner strength and beauty.
She has overcome literal evil and still one of the most engaging, beautiful people on the planet and if America can't learn from this lady's story then we are doomed..
@@ShawnRyanShow she never even experienced NK her own MOTHEE said this. Lol her entire story is a mocking bird lie. She’s an South Korean actress, it’s 2023 and none of you do research? Seriously LMAO

No she is a liar who either got paid by some agency or wanted to have some extra attention because she contradicted herself many times and says some ridiculous and wrong stuff.
I went into this one expecting to hear horror stories from a victim. What I found was a warrior and a patriot. Keep fighting Yeonmi, and thank you Shawn.
Anyone else just watch Shawn with Tucker? Tucker was saying how he would love to visit North Korea someday to experience the 'diversity' as if North Korea was some wonderful kind of real life amusement park. Shawn didn't say a DAMNED THING about the ABSOLUTE EVIL being done there on the daily. OBVIOUSLY SHAWN KNOWS BETTER - he's had Yeonmi on his show. His silence was SHAMEFUL. His tacit endorsement DESPICABLE! It is your duty to educate people about stuff like this Shawn. You're just like everyone else - a damned hypocrite! You actually gonna do something to help or you just gonna talk about it and buy yourself a new Rolex for Christmas?
Such horrors that men perpetuate upon men. This lady is a hero and her story should be heard in schools, colleges, churches.. May God bless her and keep her safe.
Because largely the things she's saying are lies. Look into it. I'm serious, Google some of the things she says to find out for yourself that she is just BSing you. Not everything obviously, but a lot of what she says isn't true.
“I survived this in life, of course I can survive the memory of it” such an iconic, inspirational quote. Took me 24 hours to make it through this interview because of the emotion, but I can honestly say, this interview has changed my life
except she's lying about almost all of her stories. You can fact check this. She has RADICALLY contradicted herself on many occasions. Western people just love to be told they're lucky or that they live the best life on earth, which is complete bs. That's why you people believe crap like this and get easily emotional without even verifying the slightest information that's brought to you by shameless people who only care for clicks.
One of the most empowering things I've ever heard. She may not realize just how important she is, as an American we need her, as humans, we need her to keep fighting the fight against Communism that has infected literally everything as this point.
I’m just listening to this interview! At age 64 I am in awe of Yeonmi’s strength, courage and wisdom! Thank you, Yeonmi, for standing up for freedom and thank YOU, Shawn, for bringing this wonderful person to my attention!
This story is absolutely the most wild shit I have ever heard in my entire life. Gave me, as an American, major major perspective into just how good we really do have it. My problems are nothing compared to the horrors she survived. It’s incredible. Thank you for sharing your story.
Made me think 🤔 We fight for oil We fight for land We’re a greedy nation, why not “take” north Korea and turn it back over to the population?? I’m sure our government can make a buck somewhere and we could at least help the Korean people
@@VeeTaperTemplar is the country greedy as a whole or has the government been expanded far beyond founders' intent resulting in an ever growing war machine? Average person just wants to be left the f alone
@@VeeTaperTemplar well, well-meaning America has tried that before. Take away rights from the government to give back to the people. We've actually tried it a few times, (think of the countries we've "occupied") but as soon as we step away, the vacuum gets filled by corruption even worse than before. We would have to permanently control the country.
She is beyond grateful for the life she has found and will probably always live in fear of having to live that life of her past again. Those who hate America should go knock on the door of her country and ask if they can move in.
This woman needs to speak at every university and corporation in America. I am profoundly moved by this interview. I was enlightened and enriched throughout the entirety of this incredible interview. Thank you Shawn for making it happen. And thank you Yeomi for sharing your heart and strength with us. I am a better person just by hearing it.
I agree. However, as I'm sure you know, a lot of Americans don't care about her story. I absolutely do. I got to travel in my younger days and she is absolutely telling the truth. However, if things aren't a bother to most people, they don't really care about them. It's sad.
@@HAMMERHEAD-g3h indeed. One of our blessings is also a curse. We are comfortable here. And change doesn’t come from comfort. True change comes from intolerable pain. I work in a large corporation with a lot of diversity. I have the pleasure to work alongside people that have come here from China, Russia, Cuba and Mexico. All are very vocal about what they are seeing. We need to be listening to what they are telling us. Thank you Shawn for what you bring with your interviews.
Unfortunately, the youth are not taught the horrors of these types of governments. There are people in America that want communism. There are people that think only the govt should have firearms. It’s crazy seeing people wanting to give up their rights in order to obtain “security”. It’s sad to see, and we are only a generation or two away from completely losing what America stands for.

@@SubUrbanSF Very well stated. I know how hard it must have been but I’m glad that she was able to tell her story and expose the evil in the Korean regime. I am still amazed at her strength.
@@lilwater3279 If you're referring to her age (saying 17 and 15) she's explained this already. N. Korea (and S. Korea) calculate age differently. If someone is born on Dec 31 the are 1 the day they are born. Then Jan 1st they would become 2. Using Western calendar as an example here too. This is why if there was an interview done in Kora and translated, her age would be different. The day someone is born, they are 1. Then at the beginning of the next calendar year, they become 2 - no matter how old they actually are. A baby could be 4 months old and be "2" in Korean age.
She’s a grifter who had to flee SK after defecting from NK because other defectors called her out for lying. She even lied about being infertile due to starvation….she has a child now lol

Her voice cracked when she talked about the stages of starvation before a person passed. I thought I had it bad growing up in Vietnam. Her experience made mine looks like a cakewalk.
I recently showed this entire interview to my wife, and I noticed how Shawn sees and feels the pain, while she’s describing the SA of her mother..He says “and how are you dealing with that?” Such a powerful question, that really pulled this into a caring and sympathetic interview! This woman’s story is absolutely terrifying, but I’m so glad she’s able to tell it! Thank you Yeonmi Park for your courage and determination! It’s truly remarkable!
Breaks my heart to hear her say, “I don’t want to count.” She continued, “I’m not dirty. I don’t want my son to think I’m dirty.” As a courageous survivor, she thought some people would see her in that light. Believe me Ms. Park- you may just be the purest soul I’ve ever come across.
Thank the host for testing the measure of " how often" this woman was raped, after she described everything in detail. The host should not have to visually reinact her being raped x amt of times in his mind. A decent intellect I beg to question.
Ikr, Shawn is great, but some of his questions are very insensitive. He doesn’t mean to be this way, he is trying to very sensitive and comforting, but I just don’t think he realizes some questions are too much.
😆🤣 As a Korean woman, i don't even know where to begin... lol. If Yeonmi paints S. Korean society edging towards Wokeville, don't believe it lol. She thinks S. Koreans protesting to stop psychopaths from torturing helpless animals - eg., scalping cats, beating women who feed homeless cats to unconsciousness, illegally operating horrific dog meat farm - is flirting with Woke 🤦. Woketards couldn't give a sh't about voiceless animals - true victims. As for Climate change, it was Nixon that started the Environmental... They wanted to preserve wild life & its habitat. Til she can come up better ways to clean up the all the filth... she should keep quiet.
You know this is nothing to do with socialism or even communism it’s totalitarianism, which in all honesty is what you Americans are waking into under Christian/republicanism. Do your own research, just because of how North Norea is don’t get into thinking that America is and better because it’s not!!
@@gwenfrew4705 The only difference between socialism and communism is that communism controls social aspects of life too. Like forcing someone to use their "preferred pronoun" or face legal consequences. Ever hear of the Chinese "social credit score" system? Totalitarianism is just essentially one party rule that has complete control over everything, like dictators. You can have a totalitarian capitalist country. Yes, NK is totalitarian, but totalitarianism is not an economic form, it is a form of government. Socialism is basically "Communism light". They both encompass collective ownership of property - and the only way to collectively own property is to have the state own and disburse it. Which is why communist countries are typically totalitarian. Whomever is in control of the state and the ownership of property and disbursement of the same often wants to retain that power. Socialism is not a capitalist economy with a few social programs, like USA having public roads, fire dept, police etc. that people like to use as "examples of socialism working" or "socialism" itself. It's not socialism. Totalitarianism, authoritarianism, and fascism are all forms of government characterized by a strong central rule that attempts to control and direct all aspects of individual life through coercion and repression. Again, which is why communist/socialist countries are often one of the three. Because the state or central gov't agency already has the power over property & personal property does not exist. Facism differs from totalitarianism in the fact that in facism, national identity is emphasized as the "master race." Totalitarianism is a political system, while fascism is more of a political ideology. Semantics aside, it doesn't really matter what she calls it. The simple fact that the same things that NK used to oppress her & still uses to oppress its people, are things that she's noticing happening in USA. Period.
Every person whose never struggled or starved needs to hear, Then they would have little to complain about any hardship when you hear stories like this. North Korean regime is pure evil on their own people. It’s disgraceful to everything any human values against another and more so to destroy your own people for your own agenda.
Quite a sad story of a North Korean survivor of communism. We never seem to fully understand how good we have it under democratic capitalism! We have rights,we vote in our leaders and we can vote them out.( I think it still works that way?) North Korean Communism seems to be a brutally totalitarian society that controls it’s people beyond what the Chinese perpetrate. Future major conflict with some Asian countries seems inevitable. North Korea first, then China--or ?
@@johnviverto North Korea can’t even feed its people. China is the one to be worried about. But our greatest enemy is within. If the message is being delivered from God then all of the horrible atrocities that she suffered were also delivered from God. Maybe think about what you’re saying before you say something so thoughtless.
How do you know that her story is true? What personal knowledge do you have or fact checking have you done to ensure that you are not being taken for a sucker by a charismatic con artist? I guess all it takes is a pretty asian girl with ever changing story of being trafficked and raped (evidently Americans think this is the ultimate worst thing that can happen to a woman) to sell you book and separate you from $18.49 on Amazon. It won't though because it goes against the narrative and against the plan. Listening to her really makes obvious the plan they are carrying out here in the US. All the push for "democratic socialism", equity, all the indoctrination, class and race separation, and erosion of our rights is all steps needed to install a communist dictatorship. That is the plan and when people like this expose the flaws of that plan the last thing they want to do is give her a platform.

Weird, cause I've heard it about 8 times, weirdly her story has changed so much since the first time she's told it. Big details too, like who she actually escaped with. Makes me not trust everything she says
She hit it right on the spot, about American victimhood! We have to stop blaming everyone or something else for our problems or failures and keep pushing ahead!
She forgot to mention the part where she was an actress in South Korea in her teens and her own mother saying she never experienced NK. All false information and a character she is playing.

So yeah $100 a day isn’t really too bad actually

@@lilwater3279 If you're referring to her age (saying 17 and 15) she's explained this already. N. Korea (and S. Korea) calculate age differently. If someone is born on Dec 31 the are 1 the day they are born. Then Jan 1st they would become 2. Using Western calendar as an example here too. This is why if there was an interview done in Kora and translated, her age would be different. The day someone is born, they are 1. Then at the beginning of the next calendar year, they become 2 - no matter how old they actually are. A baby could be 4 months old and be "2" in Korean age.

Period.

This young woman has been through so much trauma, and she is so courageous to talk about it all. She is so much stronger than most people in the United States of America. She's not playing the victim card. She's an inspiration to me.
Why do so many of you have to take this as an opportunity to denigrate the US? Why do you people take every foreign story of hardship and turn it into an opportunity to demonstrate your American self-loathing?
Who are the people you're referring to? I'm just curious to know
@@GigiGhiba-po6ir uhhhhh no. Nice try, BRIT BUM
I know this is old, I must have been living under a rock but I only found out about her recently & have been watching everything about her. Bought Yeonmi's books which are so incredible!!!!
I love the SRS & Shawn & so pleased he's interviewed her.
THIS IS MY FAVORITE INTERVIEW!
I just love this woman, my ❤ is with her 🙏
Found her in Joe Rogan a year or 2ago. Glad we both found her.
I am a human trafficking survivor, and watching you tell your story is inspiring. It's definitely a message being delivered from God, because the impact you just had on me was profound. Thank you for having the courage to share your story, bring light to the darkness, and give a voice to the voiceless. I'm so incredibly grateful this interview was put in my path today. Thank you Shawn for your ability to actively listen, and your ability to create a safe space for not only her to share her story, but for your listeners who have complex trauma and know they are in a safe space to feel vulnerable and be able to listen to this. Thank you 🙏🙏🙏
How did you get taken?
I’m so proud of you. From one strong Lady to another. Keep moving forward Lil Sister. 🙏🏼🌹
If the message is being delivered from God then all of the horrible atrocities that she suffered were also delivered from God. Maybe think about what you’re saying before you say something so thoughtless.
You can tell its a message from God because of all those attacking her.
Amen❤. ua-cam.com/users/shortsyjriJ9lV64c?si=f1dWY68KCvlyQPyo
"The only truth you know is who you are." That is quite a fascinating and scary quote.
What an amazing woman. Thank you Yeonmi, for exposing the injustice and cruelty in our world 🙏
How do you know that her story is true? What personal knowledge do you have or fact checking have you done to ensure that you are not being taken for a sucker by a charismatic con artist? I guess all it takes is a pretty asian girl with ever changing story of being trafficked and raped (evidently Americans think this is the ultimate worst thing that can happen to a woman) to sell you book and separate you from $18.49 on Amazon. Do some internet research on the inconsistencies of her extreme tale and decide for yourself before you start worshipping her and handing her your money. Idiots.
Huff?
She is absolutely profound the amount of wisdom drawn from this interview is profound. There are alot of life lessons to be taken away. This was inspirational to watch 🇿🇦
Shawn, this woman should be nominated for the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Her story and her commitment to helping other North Koreans are extraordinary!
I agree but afraid everyone too scared of the repercussions
medal of honor? doesnt that only work when you honoring your own country?
@@RainbowClear The Presidential Medal of Freedom is for civilians. The medal is awarded by the president to people who have made an" especially meritorious contribution to the security or national interests of the United States, world peace, cultural, or other significant public or private endeavors". I think that with her life story and her making people aware of the horrible conditions in a communist country she would qualify. It has been awarded to people for much less.
@@RainbowClear she said medal of FREEDOM, not honor
@@fatimagross1956 ahhh facts she did. but the medal of freedom is still givin to people who done something that contributes to the country lol
Out of this horrific and inspirational story she has, I feel the most powerful thing she spoke on was how she refused to victimize herself! SO much of our society needs to strive to be like this wonderful woman!!
research her yourself. please
@@hamon4228 I will instead research how many people NK has in their ministry of propaganda
I agree with "hamon"
Research her, she's playing you..
People are so rude towards ppl who “victimize themselves” AKA ppl who HAVE DEPRESSION . Everyone’s so pro mental health awareness then they say dumb contradictory shit like that
@@Boomer1156 Can you provide proof? Research just shows there is a wild reddit controversy that she is lying simply because of a few inconsistencies she corrected about her childhood. Even people without trauma can remember things that are by core the same but details are skewed from it being so long ago.
About the only thing I can get out of mouth right now is …. BRAVO. BRAVO. BRAVO. What a wonderful human being she is!
Everytime my PTSD gets bad I throw On a shawn ryan show and instantly feel like I got a battle buddy with me. Thank you sir, you mean so much to so many different people
He is paid to whitewash US war crimes and promote the CIA/DOS/DOD/WH/etc. lies. Get a grip. This man is a liar and a compromised gov agent.
he's gonna battle N. Korea all by himself he's just dreamy fuking dik
I love how Ryan is respectful by not interrupting even if the guest did not completely understand the question he is asking and the guest answers it the way they understood the question. Very humble and honorable. Stay the course Ryan!

I consider my self a tough guy but this woman brought tears to my eyes.
Same here
I think everyone considers themselves as tough..
Tim Dillons bit on her had me 💀
I’m not tough, I cried all the way through 🙃
I doubt your a tough guy, guy.
This interview was phenomenal. I literally watched this with my jaw on the ground and probably said “WTF” about 100,000 times. I can’t even begin to wrap my head around living through what she lived through and experienced. Yenomi Park is a true survivor and champion of life and everyone should hear her story.
"I survived this in real life, ofcourse i can survive the memories of it" its the best inspirational statement i heard. And the fact that after everything she refuses to be victimized.... Deep respect @Yeonmi Park 🙏
Yeonmi is one of the strongest woman in this world. The evil atrocities she has experienced throughout her life are heartbreaking. People should listen to what she has to say - not only is she extremely knowledgeable, she knows what she’s talking about because she has lived it 1st hand. You are amazing Yeonmi ❤😢❤😢❤
I am so glad you did this podcast. I feel every American should watch this. Her courage is beyond words.
Every nation needs to see this.
Especially the younger generation in America, our kids who are indoctrinated need to hear this..
2:20:12 The enemy lies within. (In our case a bunch of college professors drooling over Communism)
@@mightyoaks80 right?! And all these little degenerate kids running around cheering for “woke” culture. We are so fcked in this country if we don’t get our shit together
The left is so brainwashed it wouldn’t matter. Moderates and the right will hear it. This is comparable to. The eyes of the devil documentary. You all should check it out
This has..by far...been the strongest person I have ever seen. Shawn I love all of your guests, I love your show. This was different. This was so different, Yeonmi, you are beautiful - unending gratitude and prayers of peace for you.
this is the 1st Shawn Ryan show ive watched and im totally blown, loved how he gave her ample time to talk without interruptions and just guiding the conversation along very gently. it was perfect.
Shawns an incredible interviewer let’s the guest tell their story
I saw on a short, I've never heard of him. I think I am a fan now. He has a calm interview style, it's a conversation where the guest is the star 🌟.
His interviews will spoil you, just allowing people to speak, not cut them off after 1-2 sentence answers and he doesn’t make the show about him.
Except the part where he asked how many times she was r**ped, then when she didn’t answer he asked for more clarification- like?
This needs to be on every channel and on every media source in the USA.
And Romania and UE. I vote for Romania.
But it won't be....doesn't fit "THE narrative"
Instead liberals are tripping over themselves to say this woman is a liar.
In the world*
So we can laugh at how ridiculous it is?
This should be viral in America.
Oh my gosh, I feel speechless hearing this woman's story again in so much detail and depth. I realize just how fortunate I am to have been born into a conservative family with actual Bible believing parents in the freest most prosperous country ever to exist. After hearing what life could be like I will do my best to never again complain about my life because being married with two kids and being able to stay home to raise them, I am literally experiencing heaven on earth. Thank you Lord for your abundant blessings and mercy, because I don't deserve the wonderful life you've given me. 🤲 And I'm sorry for being a coward in the past, afraid to speak out, and afraid of losing friends. Never again will I be afraid. Yeonmi you are one of the most inspirational, persevering, beautiful, and courageous people I've ever heard of. I know you have doubts that your story is having a real impact, but I'm here to say that it is. It truly is. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
This is one of the best interviews I’ve ever seen. I hope this goes viral. Yeonmi is an incredibly strong person.
Why is she super shiny
@@NickiD_GoldEntertainment
Child of the Most High King. Godly.
What’s incredible is that someone asked her how she stayed so strong, and her response was, “I’m not strong, I was just determined”.
This is the woman that should've been on a budlight can. Absolutely incredible human being. Thank you Yeonmi for sharing your story
absolutely.
Get the f sober and put her as an ad for war against North Korea and China. Problem is, they have nukes.
The bud light shit is an example of how they manufacture drama to occupy our population. Do you REALLY gaf? It's all just bullshit they convince you has meaning, so that you don't take to the streets with your friends
Can't agree more! Amen to that
I couldn’t agree more
Thank you Yeonmi for sharing your story, as a fellow Korean I am reminded why I am grateful to have grown up in the U.S.
I've never heard her story before. Why?! In the last 2 1/2 hours she went from a "who" to someone that easily makes it onto my "Protect At All Costs" list. What she's endured breaks my heart and pisses me off. But what blows my mind the most, is her mental and emotional strength afterwards. Thank You Shawn for introducing my to her and her story.
If you get into the lives of n. Korean defectors, her story is one of the more mild ones. They get . . . Dark. Check out some audiobooks if u get a chance.
Some Chinese Gs Police just got caught, it's not only North Korea but everywhere.. and that's the world we live, love, hate and keep our children in.
This was big several years ago. Because she’s one of the only North Korean born citizens that have ever escaped. So she’s a wealth of knowledge about what is behind the propaganda
Weird, cause I've heard it about 8 times, weirdly her story has changed so much since the first time she's told it. Big details too, like who she actually escaped with. Makes me not trust everything she says
@@SaltNBattery can you give some more examples of how th story changed. Who did she originally say she escaped from?
I just really loved it.. Love how you interviewed her.. Thankyou so much for this
She hit it right on the spot, about American victimhood! We have to stop blaming everyone or something else for our problems or failures and keep pushing ahead!
Cheers
She forgot to mention the part where she was an actress in South Korea in her teens and her own mother saying she never experienced NK. All false information and a character she is playing.
America has no right to play victims we cause more chaos for ourselves with these politicians, social media etc
@@snafuperman you said her teens. You realize there are 12 years of life before you become a teen. Those years she spent in NK so what do you mean
@@iknow4913 She said multiple times that she arrived in South Korea in 2009. She was born in 1993. Do the math. And after that she magically graduated high school 18 months (!!!) right after although she has been spending every day looking for grasshoppers to eat in North Korea, in prison and trafficked around the continent. Nothing makes sense in her story.
I wouldn't go so far and say that she's playing a character, but she is deliberately putting out disinformation. Either because of attention, or bribes by some agency.
Her incredible miraculous story...needs to be heard by everyone in America. Stunning inner strength and truth. ❤
Most of Sean’s interviews are with tough Special Ops guys with heroic stories. But Ms Park’s story is a different kind of heroic. This was the most powerful interview he has done. Her struggle and story is amazing!
We are all capable of being heroic….the question is, when SHTF in front of us, will we be?
She’s a fake. Do some research. Her own mother will confirm this.
"If I survived that in real life I can survive the memory of it" Her resiliance and wisdom is what we all need to learn from. She proves that human spirit is beyond our conditioning and even the most horrifying experience. Her attitude and resilience would help so many victims of trafficking and abuse.
This interview has showed me so much. I’ll never take my life in the US for granted. I will also share this interview with anyone complaining about our problems.
This lady is such an inspiration what a truly amazing lady.
Thank you Shawn for having her on and holding space for her to feel safe in your presence.
You are a wonderful interviewer thank you
Wow... Perhaps the most impactful interview and discussion ever. Her story should be amplified everywhere. There were so many nuggets of wisdom from her... Like this:
"If I survived that in real life, I can survive the memory of it."
US should be proud to have her as a citizen. All the best to Yeomni Park from Finland! ❤💪
She is a miracle. I share a birthday with Yeonmi and I was born in South Korea but was lucky to be adopted by an American family. She is such a strong woman and her story is so important for others to listen to and ensure that we, as Americans, do not end up in a communist America because that, is where we seem to headed.
I see yeonmi park and I click. Her story never gets old no matter how much I listen. Love this woman ❤️
What an incredible interview! Yeonmi Park is such a remarkable and inspiring woman. Thank you for sharing her journey with us!
What an Amazing Beautiful Intelligent young Lady. God Bless you ...PRAYING for You ❤
I had to stop this video a couple of times because I started weeping for her. I have four daughters and I cannot imagine her going what she went through. She is an amazing and resilient woman. Beautiful. I wish her the best for the rest of her life.
This was one of the most powerful interviews I’ve ever had the honor of watching. This entire country needs to see this! This is a vital view that the majority need to see.
Everyone needs to see this.
The best interview. I admire her and her strength. Thank you Shawn.
How can you not absolutely adore Yeonmi Park? She is an incredibly resilient, brilliant, compassionate, well-spoken and beautiful human being; one who is amazing by any and every standard.
Note that Yeonmi Park refuses to play the role of the tragic victim. Her dignity forbids as much.
This was seriously impactful. As North Koreans couldn’t imagine our freedoms or even know that our freedom exists, I and we in America could never imagine the oppression, abuse and control they endure. I couldn’t fathom. I had to take breaks from this episode because her story is so painful. She is a true hero.
The worst part of this story is the human trafficking. Biden opened the borders, and 85 Thousand children are now missing. I have never been angrier, These evil politicians must be held accountable for crimes against humanity. Biden is being paid by China ...for what ??? I am wanting to start a petition to hold Biden, and Kamela Harris, Adam Sh#t, etc, for child trafficking. . Children are also being forced into lithium minds. People go throughout their lives without a care. Where's the OUTRAGE??? Child slaves were just found working in Hyundai plants. I will NEVER buy another Hyundai. There was another car plant also where children were forced to slave. Young children!! . WHERE ARE THESE 85 THOUSAND CHILDREN THAT BIDEN LET INTO THE UNITED STATES'??? WHY DID THE DEMONCRATS OPEN THE BORDERS? I remember back when Nancy Pelosi wanted to take away protection for children coming across the border. Governor Tom Cruz was sickened by it. I don't understand why Gov. Tom didn't bring the cops in, and arrested these Democrats. I guess this Q stuff was true.. the only lie was that no one was arrested. Epstein would agree to that.
Best interview of Yeonmi I have heard. I know her son will be very proud of his mom, and he will be raised right.
Thank you Shawn for having this amazing brave woman on your show!!
I loved the entire interview. Over 2hrs of captivating wisdom. But the last 10mins hit deeper. America is gradually loosing it but there is still hope. God bless you Yeonmi. Take good care of yourself and know that your voice will be heard and your impact won't be in vain.
Thanks Shawn. Yeonmi is great example of what true struggle and oppression looks like. A great example for the people of today that have forgot what our forefathers have gone through, just on a different parallel.
You will eat ze bugs…Klaus Schwab @26:44.
