I told you in story.....use legal water taxi. They are not Sabahan.....mostly illegal. My friend tour guide told me last time. REMEMBER ONLY USE LICENSE WATER TAXI.
When we were kids, our parents would often remind us not to follow a stranger. That applies to adults too. Thank goodness nothing unfortunate happened to you. Stay safe brother.

Even for me as a local in sabah..i nearly got kidnapped with 2 of my friends😂..Yes there are only 2-3 cases reported in the past 2-3 years. But actually there's a lot of kidnapping that happen there😅,but they cant do anything about it,since most of the people that got kidnapped doesnt have any document,if they go to the police. They will be sent back to the philipines😅..That will be the first and last,im not going to semporna ever again..A lot of people from philipines that dont have any document there, its scary there😅

Learn your lesson Logesh, not everyone that you met had good intention towards you and yes it is true what the manager said most of the fisherman do works with the Pirates for easy money for them. Thank God nothing happen to you and he had protected you by using Rachel to stop you from going. NEVER TRUST ANYONE especially when you are travelling or even in your own homeland. Take Care Everyone.
I read a lot of comments here saying “listen to your wife” but in my case, I listened to my husband 😆. We were thinking of where to go for anniversary holiday but when I suggested Mabul he rejected saying “banyak lanun”. I was doubting this until I saw this video and some of the comments sharing their experiences 👀
Thank God Rachel's instinct save you. Be safe always. Also dont let your children run freely in public places anywhere in the world. I remembered one incident in Singapore famous shopping mall in Orchard road. There was this Indian family from India who left their kids running around the mall at the highest level, suddenly there was a big sound, and the son was sprawling on the ground floor in front of the customer office counter. He died. What happened is, the boy who is around 14 years old was playing at the escalator, and then he climb and sat on the rail, hoping to get a ride down and unfortunately lost his grip and fall head down. It was very unfortunate and sad incident😭 So be safe and vigilant on your surroundings . God bless you all 🙏🙏🙏
I am sarawakian honestly bro Longest advise you don't ever go to the island in Sabah waters bcos they are many pirates there the fishermen are team with pirates from Sulu island of Philippine where the Left Wing of the Philippines that are stil not in good terms with the Philippines govt . Many Sabahan esp Chinese has been kidnapped before and never Coming back.
I absolutely love you guys. Wonderful family ❤️❤️Yesterday while scrolling through UA-cam I saw a video of you guys. Now I am hooked. I am also in an interracial marriage. I love that Rachel eats your food and travelled l to your home town and loves it. After 33 years of marriage, my husband still refuses to travel to my home land (Trinidad) and hates the smell of my local food. I am also of Indian descent. Keep making those videos ❤❤❤
First of all, YNWA. Bloody Hell Logesh.... U married the perfect woman for you. Her intuitions prevented you from getting into deep trouble. Thank goodness you listened to Rachel and the whole world gets to continue watching your wonderful vlogs with your wonderful beautiful family. Yes betul.. saya pun sebelum ni ada dengar cerita about the pirate and selalu takut tuk pergi but once you go. Yes u will know how amazing the island. The important things. CAREFUL. Everywhere u go be careful.
wow! thank you very much for sharing. by the looks of it, it is a beautiful place!!!!!! gosh, it could have been the other way. glad you guys are safe and to tell this episode! thank you very much once again. stay safe!
I think it’s not fair to the fisherman in the video. They could be just honest and hardworking people trying to feed their family. Since it’s an allegation, you could have at least blurred his face.
Spent 2 yrs + of my childhood back in the late 50s-early 60s living in semporna and island hopping with my parents, Sipadan was one of them. We had pirates back then but I had fond memories of my time at sea and visiting the people living on these islands. My father was a govt servant seeing to the welfare of the locals and maintaining some sort of law and order. Had no fear as I was too young to care. I was so sunbaked then that my relatives called me the Bajau kid.
*OMG !!! Thanks for sharing and glad entire Kumaar family is saved and good for now but I am more worried about Zayden and Kyren safety cos both are still kids but thank God all is well now hopefully*
The Sabahans are not all locals, many come from nearby islands, so be cautious, but things are improving now that marine police are continuously patrolling to regulate their presence.
Pirates have been prevalent in that region for eons. The chinese were writing about it since about 2000 years ago. It is really not surprising since it is on one of the busiest aqatic trade routes in the world. It could even be argued that all the East India Companies be it Portuguese, Dutch and English were crown sponsored pirate operations.
Stranger Danger.... we should listen to our own advice which we give our kids bro!!! Thank goodness you are alright. And thank you for sharing, will share with my friends and family your experience as a warning!
Good decision Kumaar!!! Your wife made the right call. I'm so glad you guys are safe and sound. In all fairness however, that fisherman guy probably just want to make an honest living. Even so, if I were you, I would do the same i.e listen to my wife 😁😁✌
