    I pretty much agree with the placements. Between multiple people, even if they all have 1000+ hours in the game, you might get differing opinions on where exactly the character would be.
    I'd honestly put Runaway and Vestal both at the bottom of B tier and just scrap the C and D tier because they are characters that have more requirements for the player and the party to do well, whilst S tier characters are so powerful because they are always a good addition to the team, no matter what you do.
    I think I said the same thing on stream yesterday, but Flagellant, Jester and Crusader are definitely a cut above the others:
    -Flagellant can heal, stress heal, tank. Summons a miniboss for extra mastery.
    -Crusader can heal, stress heal, tank. Banneret is never out of position, he really doesn't care which rank he is in. Inspiring Cry, Battle Heal and Tenacity can be used from any rank, and Holy Lance will help him fix other character's positions who might want to be further in the back. Bulwark of Faith is also ridiculous even without mastery, to buy some time for the team to recover. It was an instrumental ability for me during act 4 BBeacon earlier today when I had a rough Dreaming General, to not die on the next fight!
    -Jester has supreme control over the flow of battle, between speed and daze tokens, he is the master of time and space. Sarmenti does remind me of DIO from JoJo's bizzare Adventure because he is very mobile with Solo/Finale/Fade to Black it's extremely difficult to hit him, but he is fragile if an attack does reach him!
    I could ramble about the game all day long, but I think the bottom line of what constitutes as a good character is reliable moves that can be used from many positions and impact the state of the battle. In short, they need to **do something useful** without wasting actions.
    Characters that have too heavy restrictions on their moves, like Vestal's Divine Grace having a huge cooldown AND requires the target to be really low on HP already AND you need conviction for the heal to be worth anything, it's just worse than Battle Heal, especially from Banneret, even if the numerical value is lower and the use limit theoretically limits the Crusader, though honestly I have never gotten to the point where I ran out of Battle Heals and wished I had more.

      I thought about having Runaway be in B tier as well but it was already very crowded. If I broke it up into more tiers it would've been a little much imo. The heroes as a whole don't really have a huge amount of room between them in terms of viability, they all do something uniquely strong, It mostly depends on what you're looking for when building a team.
      I appreciate you taking the time to watch the video and leaving your thoughts :)

      I don't think anyone belongs into the same tier as a Vestal. Sure, Bonnie wants a Sprawl visit and some mastery to take off in dmg but going to the Sprawl is good for most team anyways. Meanwhile, Vestal is super slow, needs a ton of set-ups, has actually unreliable healing and deals no dmg (even when including the tokens).

      @@0rcd0c What makes Vestal a functioning character are her consecrations. It provides really strong support with her consecrations, especially fortitude because giving dodge or block to another hero isn't something most other heroes can do. Her damage is also fine on Judgement but Mace Bash is a different story. After both consecrations Judgment is getting 100% more damage and potentially extra burn which is really nice. A fast Seraph Vestal feels great, especially with Mantra. Mantra can easily heal 30-40 HP on two different heroes. My real issue is Divine Grace and how she can't really do much else outside of what I just described, even if she's good at it.

      "Summons a miniboss for extra mastery"
      More like summons a miniboss in the worst moment possible and dies from it.
      (That's my experience anyways)

    I’m biased in my personal likes, but, I can’t deny the obvious:
    Flagellant is the best char in the game! Strong heals, strong stress, strong dots, strong buffs.
    Man at Arms is the uber tank with a trick for any situation.
    Jester is a glass cannon with marking tricks for all occasions …and that all powerful encore.
    Personally, I love Leper in 1, Flag in 2, HM in 3 and Vestal in 4. Yeah, requires some build arounds and some early luck …but when you’re geared, HOLY SMOKES!!!!!

    New GR paths all feel much better. Getting rid of the speed reduction for venom drop is great. HWM sharpshot is no longer busted, but its still fun. Rogue is much better. Never really liked yellow hand and this one still is a struggle. New yellow hand feels a little more playable but it has less identity.

    • @HePraisesTheSun
      @HePraisesTheSun 8 місяців тому

      The new paths are really nice but I'm thinking the problem with Yellowhand is it's designed with the other bleed paths being reworked in mind. We're essentially only seeing parts of their endgame balance, pieces at a time. The DoT res Debuffs could be a little stronger too but I think they're doing a great job so far :)

    HW is A tier to me. Rogue and sharpshot are some of the best sources of consistent offense (as in without set ups).
    Sharpshot's double tap is one of the best moves in the entire game.

    • @HePraisesTheSun
      @HePraisesTheSun 7 місяців тому

      The new rouge and Sharpshot are really good paths but the old ones felt a bit lacking in diversity so that's why I put them in B. The. New GraveRobber and HighwayMan would probably be A tho. I really enjoy the new Double Tap too, great for getting through annoying tokens and execution :)

      @@HePraisesTheSun it s shame that yellowhand is still iffy. Not a bad path but still well below the other two.
      And i think Leper is in the same tier as runaway and vestal because tempest is just ok and his other 2 paths are terrible.

    • @HePraisesTheSun
      @HePraisesTheSun 7 місяців тому

      Leper is in a pretty rough spot right now but he does have some very strong tools like Intimidate, Bash and Solemnity with a high base HP so he makes a really good tank. I can see where you're coming from but I really like him personally and I think tanks are really strong but he is the worse one in the game outside of Chaplain.

    • @MrStinkels
      @MrStinkels 7 місяців тому

      @@HePraisesTheSun i dont care about his tools when his tools can miss anyway because he's blinded all the time. As a tank he's only good in short battles because his 2 tanking abilities only have 2 uses.
      And if im going to use a tank, why not use someone who can do other stuff? Crusader can heal health and stress, MAA can heal stress and guard. And both of them can stun on combo which leper cant do. And both of them are almost never out of position and even if they are they have good movement skills to get back where they need to be.
      Leper feels like a burden most of the time. The odd 50dmg hit when the stars align just isnt enough. Besides in my experience most of the the time those big hits come when your target is almost dead or on deaths door anyway ...

    • @HePraisesTheSun
      @HePraisesTheSun 7 місяців тому

      @@MrStinkels Intimidate and Bash both have effects that don't require him to actually land the hit. Being infinite double taunt with Intimidate and Bash locking him in place. Tanking with Intimidate on Tempest is very strong because of the debuff res and the health plenty isn't as important because of his high base HP. If you get around the blinds at combat start he can do it while feeding combo if you master Bash. His qualities are uniquely strong but requires a proper team to support him and capitalize on his strengths. He's also the most consistent source of weaken which is nice. Crusader and MaA are much better but there are things that Leper has that make him worth playing over them
