Thank you, Almighty Father, to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit for this holy mass, the memorial of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, celebrated by your good priest Father Anthony Gramlich. Thank you for your homily - the explanations of symbols and their clarifications, the occultic symbols, satanic symbols, tattoos and what they represent. Thank you especially for the holy meaning of the different religious Scapulars, and how powerful Scapulars are against the enemy. Our Lady of Mount Carmel, pray for us. Thank you, Lord God, for giving us priests with so much vigor with love for you and humility for salvation of souls. Good and holy priests are like treasures, to be protected and treasured, and so we pray to you, Lord God, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, to protect them always from the snares of the enemy, especially good and holy priests of the Marian Congregation. Happy Memorial Day of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel to everyone! We give a special honor to the Blessed Virgin Mary and to increase our hope and love as we wear her brown scapular, a sign of our deepest devotion to her. Fr. Anthony, thank you for the explanation of the different scapulars and the symbolism of their own colours. It’s very interesting and desirable especially when you relate the story of St. John Vianney. How the devil reacts with fear to the only lady in the dance floor he ignores to dance with. The lady was wearing the brown scapular of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, whose motherly protection saved her from the danger of losing her soul to the disguise of the attractive and handsome man. Mother Mary, thank you for your love, care and protection and help us to become obedient children to do God’s Holy will at all times.

Great homily today Fr. I wear two versions of the brown scapular because I am allergic to wool. Today I am wearing the wool one to honor our lady. I only knew about the brown and green scapulars and am curious now about the five fold scapulars. I go on retreat at a monastery near me in a month and will check out their store where I bought my brown , wool one years ago. Again thank you for being an amazing priest.

I happened upon an antique being sold ... it was a cross ... elegant carved Cross engraved on top of a piece of human skull ...
The vendors were a bit leary to it's meaning ... as if it were taboo ... I explained to them the way I see it ... a symbol of Our Lord's "VICTORY" over death. I suggested they have the skull dated ... it may date back to the catacombs.
