I remember asking my dad for the movie when I was a kid after seeing the animations online. I remember watching the extras featuring the voice cast and how the movie was made and being inspired by someone so talented. Words cannot describe how hyped I am for this game. It's already on my wishlist. I don't know if it's already been asked but is there going to be multiple characters to choose from? I feel that's pretty important for replay value in a roguelike. Oh and for the record I love that you've kept in touch with the fanbase throughout and have been implementing all kinds of cool features.

For example, you can make a custom character that has the Pro Driver skill tree or Melee skill tree. More skills and unique characters will be added as I go through Early Access.
I have a suggestion: When choosing characters (If you beat the game, any other factor can be included) there could be old killer bean skins unlocked, such as "Jack Bean" and, "Killer Bean 2.1" and such.
Suggestions for you bro! and btw drop a hint on the release ;) 1. Blood stains on the wall but no wounds on the bodies 2. Melee Attacks 3. Energy System. Killer bean shouldn't be able to roll and jump forever. It would be too easy. Depleted energy would make for some intense situations. 4. Offline LAN Multiplayer. 5. Storymode 6. Grenades and Grenade Launcher. 7. Make a Boss fight against a really hard opponent like an APC or a Tank or maybe a Chopper. 8. DO. NOT. make the game easy. Make it difficult and include even harder boss missions! 9. Make it Freeroam but with Mission areas. Idk your approach but the one mentioned should be cooler as it would let us explore Bean Town like in the movie, start fights or have fun driving. I will add more when I get the ideas.

I was watching the movie and I realised how cool the designs were for some of the beans and It got me imagining about how cool it would be to create your own bean guy to play as in the game as an addition to the skins that are already planned
There will be a customizable character to play as. In the beginning it will be with Mercenary and Bad Bean outfits, and I'll expand more to Shadow Beans later.

Thanks @Shadow-bg4vq, Vagan might have a similar jeep like in the movie. Maybe not the exact same one. I don't think there will be character switching, but you can play as Vagan or Jet Bean. Yes the Shadow Beans might attack Vagan and Jet Bean. Killer Bean will have different suits he can wear. There will be dialogue, but it will be text based.

Don't forget to have them crouch and strafe, going from a strafing run to a strafing crouch. When you're a target, you're sometimes aware of your own size. Been grinding at Roblox if you need a collabb from 3D Assets and stuff! EPIC WORK!

I haven't thought about any origin stories for the game. Actually the only origin story might be for Chintow when we find out who he really is. I might continue the episodes after the game is done, but probably no Cromwell series.

Thanks @hunglao-cz1fm, 1. nope, I don't own any 2. the currency will be fictional. Probably gold coins and maybe eggs you can collect. There will be wild birds around the island to collect eggs from. 3. The assault rifle types will just use a universal assault rifle round. Then there will be smaller handgun ammo and shotgun shells. Also rockets and grenade launchers. I'm trying to simplify the ammo types, but also have enough variety. 4. for headshots, I made it so it just does 2x the damage. So whatever the base damage the weapon does, it does 2x if you hit the head. 5. For tanks, I think they would be just high explosive. But for anti-tank weapons, they could be explosive, corrosive, or electronic disruption. 6. I don't know if I'll have bullet penetration. That's a system all on it's own. Maybe sniper rifles can penetrate 1 thing before hitting something behind it. Explosives will be an area effect, with higher damage near the point of explosion. Less damage the further away.
Oh ok, I was thinking that about having Armor Piercing Fin Stabilized Discarding Sabot for tanks because Armor Piercing Fin Stabilized Discarding Sabot rounds have lots of speed, energy and penetration which is crucial for fighting other tanks and then High Explosive for softer targets like IFVs, APCs, bunkers, etc.
Jack Bean, I shall explain height over bore to you, height over bore is the height distance from the sights to the bore of the barrel like for example if your sights are on target but a obstacle like a concrete wall is in front of the barrel, the bullet will hit the wall instead of the target or if you are shooting an enemy point blank, the bullet will hit lower than where the sight is pointing at, Oh ok I think I already explained height over bore, time for some questions. 1. Will sight height over barrel bore matter for close range or will bullets always hit where your sight is aiming, rendering height over bore non existent? 2. Of course grenades will have blast areas that do less damage farther from the origin but will they have actual fragmentation physics? For example, fragments will fly out from the exploded grenade and leave holes on the ground and walls making dirt and dust effects, breaking glass and hitting beans. 3. Can you shoot beans through building and car windows? 4. Since there might be dual mode shotguns like the Benelli M3 and SPAS-12, how will they work? Will it just be a modes with same damage with lethal rounds and pump just allowing special ammo, will the pump be firing less lethal rounds and semi firing more lethal rounds or will the pump mode magically do more damage? And clearly if you have enough buttons for dual mode shotguns, you definitely have enough buttons for select fire, right? 5. How many bird species are there and what are the bird species? 6. Will there be pet animals like Dogs and cats? 7. Why not some more wild non bird animals like deer, hogs, wolves, coyotes, cougars, hunting, Meat and pelt?

Thanks @Shadow-bg4vq, Vagan might have a similar jeep like in the movie. Maybe not the exact same one. I don't think there will be character switching, but you can play as Vagan or Jet Bean. Yes the Shadow Beans might attack Vagan and Jet Bean. Killer Bean will have different suits he can wear. There will be dialogue, but it will be text based.

2. If one of the cops dies, he'll be replaced with another one after a minute. 5 will be the maximum Cromwell can command, but the amount of cops on the island will be much more. They can conquer a base using strategy and stealth :)

Don't forget to have them crouch and strafe, going from a strafing run to a strafing crouch. When you're a target, you're sometimes aware of your own size. Been grinding at Roblox if you need a collabb from 3D Assets and stuff! EPIC WORK!

Yes, as development continues, there will be restaurants and bars to enter. Also garages to buy vehicles or upgrade vehicles. Anywhere on the island, a Shadow Bean may be hunting you. Will the game have an origin story for the characters? It would be interesting to explore Killer Bean's mind and past. As well as Jet Bean, Detective Cromwell, etc. By the way, Jeff, are you thinking about continuing to do the series: 'The Prequel' and maybe a Cromwell spin-off series?
I haven't thought about any origin stories for the game. Actually the only origin story might be for Chintow when we find out who he really is. I might continue the episodes after the game is done, but probably no Cromwell series.

1. Do you own any firearms in real life?

1. nope, I don't own any
2. the currency will be fictional. Probably gold coins and maybe eggs you can collect. There will be wild birds around the island to collect eggs from.
3. The assault rifle types will just use a universal assault rifle round. Then there will be smaller handgun ammo and shotgun shells. Also rockets and grenade launchers. I'm trying to simplify the ammo types, but also have enough variety.
4. for headshots, I made it so it just does 2x the damage. So whatever the base damage the weapon does, it does 2x if you hit the head.
5. For tanks, I think they would be just high explosive. But for anti-tank weapons, they could be explosive, corrosive, or electronic disruption.
6. I don't know if I'll have bullet penetration. That's a system all on it's own. Maybe sniper rifles can penetrate 1 thing before hitting something behind it. Explosives will be an area effect, with higher damage near the point of explosion. Less damage the further away.
Oh ok, I was thinking that about having Armor Piercing Fin Stabilized Discarding Sabot for tanks because Armor Piercing Fin Stabilized Discarding Sabot rounds have lots of speed, energy and penetration which is crucial for fighting other tanks and then High Explosive for softer targets like IFVs, APCs, bunkers, etc.

Jack Bean, I shall explain height over bore to you, height over bore is the height distance from the sights to the bore of the barrel like for example if your sights are on target but a obstacle like a concrete wall is in front of the barrel, the bullet will hit the wall instead of the target or if you are shooting an enemy point blank, the bullet will hit lower than where the sight is pointing at, Oh ok I think I already explained height over bore, time for some questions.
1. Will sight height over barrel bore matter for close range or will bullets always hit where your sight is aiming, rendering height over bore non existent?
2. Of course grenades will have blast areas that do less damage farther from the origin but will they have actual fragmentation physics? For example, fragments will fly out from the exploded grenade and leave holes on the ground and walls making dirt and dust effects, breaking glass and hitting beans.
3. Can you shoot beans through building and car windows?
4. Since there might be dual mode shotguns like the Benelli M3 and SPAS-12, how will they work? Will it just be a modes with same damage with lethal rounds and pump just allowing special ammo, will the pump be firing less lethal rounds and semi firing more lethal rounds or will the pump mode magically do more damage? And clearly if you have enough buttons for dual mode shotguns, you definitely have enough buttons for select fire, right?
5. How many bird species are there and what are the bird species?
6. Will there be pet animals like Dogs and cats?
7. Why not some more wild non bird animals like deer, hogs, wolves, coyotes, cougars, hunting, Meat and pelt?
