    Love the okw 18650! I run it on my scar 17s. Still waiting on my turbo which I'm gonna mount to the flux raider/p320. Glad I didn't get the plh

    You have to set your camera exposure manually if you’re going to show a difference in brightness. Otherwise it will just auto adjust exposure as you have demonstrated

      I’m aware, I don’t currently have the equipment for fixed exposure video, this was more of a beam profile comparison rather than a brightness comparison.

    Dont make the same mistake I did. The turbo is good for a rifle, U is good for pistol. I bought both, x300U I feel way more confident clearing a room, etc. gives a huge field of view

      @@mr.blanco6763 nah, the Turbo has plenty of spill for my eyes. I'll take the higher candela all day long. Better for punching through heavily tinted windows, backlit entryways, sunglasses, dirty glass, etc.

      @@mr.blanco6763 if a turbo is good on a rifle that is just as likely to be used to clear a house, then it doesn't magically become bad just because you mount it to a handgun.

    I used to think Wall of light, all the lumens, for a pistol light. Now, after carrying a PLHv2 in my pocket for the last few months. Plhv2 on ALL of my firearms.

    Love my pl350 plhv2 wml and also my Tlr1hl they do the job

    The PL350 won me over with the 18350 rechargables. Until SL or SF goes to single or double cell rechargables, I'm not getting any new WMLs from them.

      Love my Modlite for work because the length/size doesn’t matter. But Surefire makes rechargeable 123’s and now I also love my turbo for carry because it’s a little shorter.

      @@HapaBoi61 Would be nice to see how the turbo compares to the TLR1HL as I prefer that over the X300U A/B. Could never get used to the switches and the HL is even shorter.

      @@GldenRetriever the HL doesn’t come close to the Turbo in output, but it is still a solid option, especially for the price. I personally HATE the Streamlight switches, I think they’re far too easy to accidentally actuate, but that’s a personal preference and I know plenty of dudes who work them just fine. If you like the Streamlight, stick with it. I’m sure they will come out with an updated version to compete with the Turbo in the future 🤙

    Do you think these really intense hotspot lights will wash out your red dot? I find even with the x300u, having to turn up the brightness in order to be able to see the red dot when the light is on. And I mean turning up the dot to levels that I wouldn’t even want to use it with other than a bright day, or with the light.

    • @nocturnalguy4773
      @nocturnalguy4773  Рік тому +1

      That’s just one of the things you have to accommodate for when using lights and optics. I adjust my dot output depending on where I’m going to be shooting, I always keep them a bit higher than normal to work with high output lights.

      I find that my Trijicon RMR RM06 in auto adjust mode is usually bright enough with my Modlite PL350 (PLHv2). But on bright walls or objects I sometimes bump it up one level, which is all I've needed.

    Is it true that turbo is bigger in length compared to ultra ?
    X300 ultra is 9.1 cm
    Turbo ?

    • @nocturnalguy4773
      @nocturnalguy4773  Рік тому +1

      Nope. I have both, their external dimensions are identical. The only outward differences are the Turbo on the side and the LED diode.

    If you run a dot on your gun, are you able to see it in close quarters? or does the light from the mod light and turbo drown it out?

    • @nocturnalguy4773
      @nocturnalguy4773  Рік тому +1

      You need to run your dot at a higher setting to compensate for the light, so I just turn my dot up if I’m going out at night and back down again for day carry
