Always been a big fan of the ranch content, I've got a tractor exactly like the one James has and, I can tell you, mowing a field with one can be BRUTAL. A newer cab tractor is a long term dream but for now I work with what I got
Those cylinders are for tilt and also down force. Down force for the box blade or some other attachment you can use. Most PTO are gravity down. Down force kits allows you do put force down on attachments.
I don't think those are for down force. If you look the cylinders closer to the axle are one direction lift cylinders. You can tell because the ram is the same diameter as the cylinder bore. The other cylinders are just tilt control for the 3 point.
You know I’m following my guy James I love the fact he has his kids always around helping👍🏻💪🏻🇺🇸 just watched the video of him reinforcing his sprinkler
Not gonna lie… watching you win at life and accomplish dreams… really gives me hope. I lost EVERYTHING last year… and I spent a good amount of time feeling sorry for myself, and I am fortunate enough to have people in my life that have pushed me into chasing my dreams… and the stars are starting to align for me… its really fukn cool to see your slogan apply to my own life. Anything you want in the life, you gotta be willing to WORKFORIT… anyway, I appreciate you brother, your channel really has helped me… on my worst days it at least entertained me and kept me going. I mean it when I say STILL MY FAVORITE UA-cam CHANNEL!!! 🎉🎉
10ft or 12ft flex wing/batwing would be perfect size for that tractor. Batwing is nice because it allows the deck to have a little room to budge. Giving you a smoother cut and the ability to cut along swags or ditches up hill sides etc! It’s not mounted to the three point hitch so it allows you to back up or down hills without actually having to drop the back tires/ whole tractor up or down the hill. Also folds up to be within the tractors wheels allowing you to fit anywhere the tractor will and stores up nice. That would be my move, if it’s in the budget of course!
IF YOU WANT ANYTHING IN THIS LIFE, YOU GOTTA BE ABLE TO WORK FOR IT!!! thats literally a good title for this video!!!. Keep up the work and the best of luck on your goals in life
Get yourself a batwing cutters mower and you will be golden! Also the hydraulic cylinders on your 3 point hitch are just the new way of doing it. The hydraulics have more adjustably, they more controllable from a speed up and down down stand point and have a higher lifting capacity over the old swing are style. As a person who grew up on a farm running tractors, I’m loving this content!
Remembering my uncles tractor. Huge flywheel on the side was the 'starter' - pressing pedals to stop wheels to make turns. Primitive and would not die.
A quick hitch for the three point is a game changer. You will have to make sure new attachments are quick hitch compatible and you’ll probably have to add some bushings to upsize your three point pins on attachments.
@@timothyedwards9298 Good Point, I'm not sure if you can or not. I've got a JD 1025r and used to hate swapping implements. Once I added my quick hitch, It's no big deal anymore.
I have a 6’ tow behind John Deere rotary mower. Hydro rear wheels up and down and hooks to the hitch. I’ll send you a photo of it this weekend. Leaves it looking like lawn and rear discharge. I’m looking at getting a usedv baler to bale it and sell it, give it away just to make it that much nicer looking in my fields.
@@timothyedwards9298 That depends. You Americans tend to use a triangle shaped quick hitch, but there's also the European style "quick hitch", that's just built into the 3 point hitch. Instead of eyes, there's hooks on the end of the three arms of the 3 point hitch. There may be some way to upgrade this 3 point hitch to a quick style. Also, as long as you take the American style quick hitch off when you want to use the articulation on the 3 point, you should be able to use it in regular situations.
Welcome to Bush Hogging, I did that every summer to make my school money. Old days open cab but yes it is satisfying to work hard and see the results. You have a fine tractor, get you a wide bush hog set up and you are good to go.
The lower link's will telescope out to allow for easier hookups. That way your don't have to back the tractor up to the exact position to hookup. I always have a plastic mallet on my tractor to make hookups easier. After you practice hooking up a few times you'll get pretty quick at it.
Ryan if I Could offer some advice on what to get... I suggest a flail mower with hammer blades. They do a fantastic job on grass and woody material. Some of them you can rub over 2 inch plus material. The cut quality is much better also. Congrats on the new tractor it's about damn time lol
I sure do miss those days of mowing ditches in an open cab tractor. Only saving grace was a predominately west wind and almost all of our ditches ran north and south. Only way to keep the dust and dirt off you for the most part
pats quick attach system for the win on those three point attachments, don 't have to worry about quick hitch compatible, as their system addresses that.
I can't get over how beautiful it is out at the ranch, mountain s on all sides it look s like , don't kno what wrong with the tenets u rent to ? Id love to wake up & look out the window to that view , cool ur new tractor hook s up to the old school equipment, didn't expect it to be compatible
After a long hard day of work between a couple job sites. I’m drinking some damn nettle and camomile tea. And enjoying this video before I hit the sac lol
They're called top and tilt cylinders, mostly used for leveling your implement once one side if the tractor is in the furrow, or the previous spot you have plowed. Tractor will lean into the furrow and ripper stays level
The hydraulic cylinders on the 3pt lower links are for tilting implements (think crown on driveway with box blade) and offer a small amount of downforce Awesome tractor.
I work at a Kubota dealership, so I'm constantly connecting equipment to the tractors we sell. I'm not particularly fond of quick hitches. While they may be suitable in certain situations and depending on the specific category of the quick hitch, in my opinion, they don't significantly speed up the process. It's important to note that quick hitches can pose problems when switching between different implements. You'll still find yourself making numerous adjustments, just as you would with the regular 3-point hitch.
The cylinders tilting on the back of your coyote it, so that way you can adjust your blade angle from side to side and left one up higher than the other for doing slopes and drainage
I can remember back in high school having a muscle those three points to go from the Moana to the bakblade to the Box Ripper. Man did it suck it was even worse during the winter when you had to change out from the box refer to the blade so you could Blade the road. But with that being said I wouldn't change a damn thing about it I love every minute of doing that as a kid I would spend hours out there on the tractor
The cylinders on the lift create down pressure, which can be handy when you're doing grade work..... My only two problems I have found with the 63 horse Kioti cab I've used in the past is the hood latch was welded incorrectly, which lets the hood come unlatched on rough terrain, and the fuel tank cracked after less than 100 hours.... Being familiar with Kioti, Mahindra, and New Holland, my pick is New Holland, mainly because between the same horsepower range of the three the NH just feels like it has more power. As far as the bush hog goes, your best investment for your property as it's fairly open and level, would be a 12-15 foot batwing mower. A little pricey, but it will cut your mowing time considerably.....
I'm sure have a grinder. You should pop the blades off an sharpen them for James since he borrowed you that. Plus be nice to see difference in the cuts
don’t listen to all the comments i’ve ran a tractor my whole life and i still learn how to better myself no one can teach you how to run it perfectly just gotta do seat time
On the coyote the cylinders on the back are easier to be rebuilt and also add more lift Pasley on the back of the title light on the old John Deere the cylinder is inside the rear end and if you have to rebuild it a lot more work, then on the kitoa
Ok , now you being in the warm south , with a new tractor , I can tell you a little " what does this do " . On the rear window , those lines that go from side to side ...they are to melt frost and Ice buildup so you can see when blowing a driveway in CANADA and northern States , just letting you know . Nice rig though.
The old jd 10 series are the best, simple and reliable. I think 10 series is from the 1960’s. Also economy pto is probably feature to get full pto speed while running lower rpm.
What you're dealing with is a rock shaft ( thats what you were referring to as rhe gear thing on top) but you had the 3 point connection installed for a top and tilt. Depending on what implement you put on the rear you might have to remove some rams. They're all quick connection though. It's a very nice set up. I live in escondido, I could definitely show you how it all works. I don't really want to put my contact info in a open chat on UA-cam though.
Back when I drove a farm tractor for a living, the biggest obstacle was staying awake and not crashing into the vine posts. For those asking why I was falling asleep on a tractor. It didn't have a cab. It was freezing and the exhaust fumes would blow into my face. I'd do it all over again though.
First tractor I hopped on as a kid was a 2955 with a front loader. 4wd, we used it to pull ditches. No cab, froze our asses off lol. Last tractor I ran was a cat challenger 65e flat track. I miss the farm life so much.
FARM LIFE !!!!!!
Really want to see you buy a big mower now! Also, wanna see what Papa Ryno's reaction is to the tractor.
The best part of any Monday! Thank you Ryno!

Truly, for what you need, you got the perfect tractor.
Finally!!!!! I've missed james so much on this channel. With all the videos you make, i feel like it's been so long since you guys have hung out.
Good sheeeet, easy money! Glad your living your childhood aspirations to the max. "boys and our toys"

Legit enjoyed watching this video the tractor angles while you were mowing were so satisfying!!!
I never thought watching lawn mowing would be therapeutic but with that music choice it was relaxing
Bought the same tractor last year for my 5 acres , absolutely a game changer
Remembering my uncles tractor. Huge flywheel on the side was the 'starter' - pressing pedals to stop wheels to make turns. Primitive and would not die.
Lovin the 360 camera! The tractor is sweet! James is awesome! Definitely jealous Ryno! Keep it up!
Congratulations man, hard work pays off
A quick hitch for the three point is a game changer. You will have to make sure new attachments are quick hitch compatible and you’ll probably have to add some bushings to upsize your three point pins on attachments.
i don’t think you can have one on a articulated 3 point like he has
@@timothyedwards9298 Good Point, I'm not sure if you can or not. I've got a JD 1025r and used to hate swapping implements. Once I added my quick hitch, It's no big deal anymore.

Modern farming, I dig it
Tractor content, yes 🚜 🚜 🚜 👌
Never underestimate old farm equipment, that stuff usually outlasts the new stuff and will keep going after you die.
Now you need a big bay wing mower for that tractor! Would be perfect for your ranch
Love videos like these! Productive and making the ranch look nice!
Ryno ranch is the by far the best channel on UA-cam. Ryan you definitely need a bigger mower blade for them fields 😅keep up with the amazing content ❤
Im happy for you man been watching you a long time I aspire to be like you 🙏🏻
Monday is good now, that we got a new video from Ryno! 👍👍

Dude you are living the dream beautiful property
So happy for you
I would sit and listen you talk all day
I know papa ryno gonna love this thing
Love your new tractor. That 2020 will still be working after yours is done.
Awesome I can’t wait to purchase mines.
Love the content, cant wait to see more of the tractor at the ranch!
First and best UA-camr ever
King of youtube!

Congrats on the Kioti! Best of luck with it, and I'm working on my CK3520 today. Awesome machines, and hope you enjoy!!!
We have the quick connect for our little JD tractor and it’s definitely worth it.
I need a neighbor like James!!!
A time lapse of this with a drone above would be nuts with those mountains in the background.

Just got my first order from work for it got the jerky and it's 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thats awesome one day ill update from my 1947 8n 😅
Beautiful machine!!!
Great video again 🎉🎉
You can get a quick connect 3 point which is a life save if your switch attachments a lot
The hydraulic cylinders on the 3pt lower links are for tilting implements (think crown on driveway with box blade) and offer a small amount of downforce
Awesome tractor.
Ryan are you gonna build a covered area or a decent size shop for the equipment?
Time for a batwing mower!!
Its the stickers on the new tires for me! 🤌

Texting, on the phone, droning and still making sure no baby rabbits were harmed in this video. Nice.
I see a barn build video series in the future, got to store the new tractor, old truck and other toys somewhere.
I'm sure have a grinder. You should pop the blades off an sharpen them for James since he borrowed you that. Plus be nice to see difference in the cuts
They make these attachments for the three points called a quick hitch. It makes it a lot easier to hook up implements on the rear.
We got one of those mower deck on the ranch here in Texas, need to borrow a trailer to haul it to a scrap yard. Had no use for it and it's broken.
don’t listen to all the comments i’ve ran a tractor my whole life and i still learn how to better myself no one can teach you how to run it perfectly just gotta do seat time
I wish you had like some farm land near you like tomatoes, pistachios, or wine grapes so we can get some of our harvesters/equipment down there lol
Can I help mow your lawn.. That tractor is amazing😂😂
Ryan I would suggest getting a bat wing mower especially for the ranch
Now James is going to be over borrowing the tractor and ryno will borrow the skid steer 🤣
Awesome video
Awesome
With all your new equipment your next project should definitely be building a shop for them
You living life homie 😂😂😂

We have a newer one from 2010 and that thing kicks ass pretty much unstable brother
Let's goooo ❤
The cylinders have to do with the tilt control that you have. But by now James has already figured that out and told you😂
I’m not going to lie, I am absolutely loving the tractor comment.
Content
7:44 just like out Deere at work. exactly lol
Like the GMC and old ford James has lol
Let’s get an entrance update soon!
Aren’t the extra cylinders for power down? Standard 3 pt hitches are gravity down.

You might can have a skid plate put under neth your tractor to help pertaining the under side
You could probably find a 12ft double fold on Craig’s list or the tractor forums reasonable. Maybe Messics or Richie Brothers also
Best order your brand new batwing mower and have IEP add some extra lights just in case you need them
Lol, set that bad boy🚜 on autopilot and edit you videos in the cab!🤣

Hey Ryno ,there is a guy on UA-cam named Tractor time with Tim , he has a video explaining how to use your 3 point hitch. Hopefully this will help you
Lol. Can’t believe the battery isn’t dead yet! 😂
