From Wexford but used to love a day out to Dublin in the late 80s as a child. Used to love Moore Street and the women selling the fruit. So sad to see it all gone. They were great characters and they lit up the city.
i once was an international student from china studying economy in DBS. i spent 8 years in Dublin, from age 24 to 32, which is the best time of my life. i do miss the street, the city and the friendly irish people over there.
Heartbreaking to see it now. We call ourselves Dub's, We should be ashamed of ourselves. Letting our heritage slip away without a fight. I would join and fight to keep it. I was fed out of Moore St like thousands we're. 😭✊🍀🇮🇪
How things have changed in Moore St it's fabulous to look back at what was a thriving street the memories of which we will never see the likes of again, salt of the earth people.

I came here because of Mr's Brown's Boys Movie.
We were teens from Cork(!) visiting Dublin, and cough cough, laughing at the accents of the Moore St fruit-sellers, cough.😅😅😅
