After running offshore/inshore fishing charters in the Gulf of Mexico for ove a decade and tying THOUSANDS of knots, this thing is a real GREAT tool. I have never used one, but I damn sure gonna make one just to have. Thanks, SUPER VIDEO!

I made the tool out of brass and have used it once. I get more use fron the red nozzle from a WD 40 can. Once in a while I snell a hook, no special reason, I just do.

Beautiful knots. For those unfortunates who don't have access to bamboo, a small brass tube from a hardware store will work well. Otherwise, you can pay $10 for one made from stainless steel. I like your idea very much better. Thanks.

Very cool . I love this kind of thing but. I from Brazil and someone here teach me to spinnig the line with the hook atached to some place then u just pass the line in the same arch at the end close to the hook . The result looks very similar . But anyway ur job is great ....
1. Бамбук должен быть на цевье крючка. А не вращаться узлом вокруг душки крючка. И эта деревяшка сломается через 10 завязанных крючков. И вязать надо леской 0,6-0,7. Крючки №4,5,6....
