Because of her very fluent Japanese, she fits in very well in these JP events. A lot of participants mistakenly think she's Japanese, only to be surprised when she tells them she's Indonesian. In fact, this also has happened to Hakos Baelz in previous VCR events. At this point, Anya is also a VCR staple, and she's been making quite a few connections outside of Hololive thanks to it. Just the other day, she did an Apex collab with Konkon Aria (from the agency Neo-Porte) whom she worked alongside with as a member of the police force in VCR GTA 3. This is one of the awesome things that can happen due to these events - we get to see vtubers connect outside their usual environment, which can be the beginning of new dynamics with other creators that we would have never seen otherwise! I love it. The vtuber industry grows warmer with it, and less tribalistic too; and it allows for audiences to learn about other creators too. And most importantly, it's a lot of fun to watch!
