easy way to do this: go to a special stage (1) then get the perfect bonus once you collected all the rings just lose the special stage there is a neat quirk with the bonus wich will still give it to you even if you lost it repeat until you get the achivement i got until flying battery before i got the achivement
In original Sonic 3 it is too easy make 10^6 points. ust starting Launch Base 1, do a spindash on the first siren alarm and wait for the robo birds. After destroying some of them each yields 10^4 points (100, 200, 500, 1000, 2000, 5000, 10000, 10000 and so on). But in AIR the infinite birds are disabled in Launch Base's sirens.
I remember using a jump counter and new hud overlook I don't know the rest sadly cause I removed my mods and don't really play the game anymore but they were all on gamebanana
I'm pretty sure u need to unlock 8 achievements for it. U can find how much achievements u need to unlock for it in the extra tab and then scrolling to secrets.

my startegy was to go to special stage, perfect it then lose, and repeat until milion points
There is also a glitch that cause delete rings on your list, spam an Super monitor, then, spam rings,now done,get the rings then.

I already got that achievement using debug mode too
launch base act 1, just rev up a spindash at the beginning with the infinately spawning birds

Yes but when u deactive debug and reopen the game and defeat an enemy i thinks u got all 1million points by yourself without debug

Just complete 10 achievements and then in settings (tweaks) you can activate debug mode
