If I had more carbs like idli, I used to develop a tummy within a couple of days. Yes, it felt like just a couple of days. If I switched to Biriyani, I was getting leaner. An important thing to know is that I was eating only once at night around 7 to 8 PM and mostly remained idle and did nothing throughout the day. And even if I had two meals a day, I hardly put on any weight :)

Hi all, I have seen many negative comments for this video. Actually, what happened is that either Mr. Prem should have mentioned only the calories concept at the beginning of the video followed by keeping biriyani as an example or viewers should consider only the concept excluding the briyani example. Therefore, what I am trying to mention here is that we need ~1600 Cal. every day for our body to keep balanced weight and now you can make your own list of foods with essential vitamins, nutrients, etc. from vegetables, fruits, milk, egg, etc. which can constitute ~1600 Cal of energy.
Your theory may work on paper ,a simple logic when you eat carb in excess it's hard to stick 2k calories per day ,your body will secrete more insulin which burns out the carbs and you feel hunger in next hour. Intermeditent fasting will be the official fix for weight loss along with more fat and protein food intake

I am not sure why youtube is suggesting this video after these many years :)) . I think many people now must have realized that its not just 'caloric deficit/surplus' that one has to target for, quality of food along with micro/macro nutrients & fiber are to be factored in . People would go for 3 times maida parota with caloric deficit in mind and that could be severely detrimental/fatal. wish LMES corrects this message with another video to avoid misguiding people.
It's not as simple as that...not everyone can eat Biryani like this as there are different body types...there are people with metabolic syndrome which might lead to type 2 diabetes or insulin resistance...

Calories in calories out is not the only thing. We should not apply just physics. Biology is more complex than physics. You may want to read the book "Why we get fat" written by Gary Taubes. BTW, weight gain is only one of the side effects of eating carbohydrates. There are much bigger damages happening inside. We should not misguided by weight loss. Though we may lose weight, eating carbohydrates will do all the damages.

I think many people now must have realized that its not just 'caloric deficit/surplus' that one has to target for, quality of food along with micro/macro nutrients & fiber are to be factored in . People would go for 3 times maida parota with caloric deficit in mind and that could be severely detrimental/fatal.

Calories in calories out is not the only thing. We should not apply just physics. Biology is more complex than physics. You may want to read the book "Why we get fat" written by Gary Taubes. BTW, weight gain is only one of the side effects of eating carbohydrates. There are much bigger damages happening inside. We should not misguided by weight loss. Though we may lose weight, eating carbohydrates will do all the damages.

If correct grafting and gene modifications are done, it doesn't have any adverse health effects. Even taste can be enhanced in certain cases. Most of the misinformation is from wrong info on mass media. Only one disadvantage is that farmers will prefer to use more GMO crops and our indigenous crop varieties will die out eventually.Aanal, as a consumer, adhu qualitya vangina, no health defects bro.

Initially they are limited to testing a limited adverse effects and they say it is good to go and that is how it enters market but eventually long term effects on soil and person would be never known until a generation suffers the actual impact and then a sudden surge of awareness is spread and then organic food is marketed. Either ways they are getting profit but well being of common person is at a big question as long as everything is driven out of economic benefits.
