A phenomenal explanation
The best explanation I’ve seen, very well done
Thank you! Simple and Fantastic explanation of a complex concept. Well done!
Thanks, I've been trying to search the web for just this information, but now I understand what DBI means. 👍
Thank you very much for this easy to understand analogy.
OMG, it's so crystaly clear, excellent explanation
Best explanation that exists, thank you a lot
Beautiful teaching. Thank you.
I saw Best example till now for explaining antenna gain best way of teaching good 😍
can't find best explanation than this.
superb explanation
Thank you so much for such a simple and effective explanation🙂
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge in such an easy to understand explanation greatly assisted me in my Network plus exam🙏
just amazing. Thank you boss.
Thank you this was the easiest explication to understand by far!!!
This is an excellent explanation, thank you.
Very well explained ! Congratulations !
Excellent example about the meaning of antenna Gain
extremely helpful illustration!
Thank you!
A light bulb isn't an isotropic radiator, because it has a lamp socket which creates a shadow above the lamp and the filament is also not an infinite small point and radiates more light on the side then on its ends. In fact isotropic radiators do not exist, they are just a theoretical construct. Anyway, that's just nitpicking. Everything said was correct and the explanation is a very good one! I use the light bulb analogy myself when I explain this to someone.
excellent explanation. thank you.
Awesome visuals bruddah thank you! ✌️♥️💯
Excellent. Thank you.

This is a great explanation !
Thank you so so much
excellent explanation!
Excellent, quite simple and understandable and this is what we need 👍
Thank you so much.....could you please replace the bulb with patch antenna, that would be more informative ...
We will have a conclusive on how to increase gain while designing the patch antennas ..
Appreciate your help
Thank you.
Thank you so much
very good information, thank you
Amazing!
Well done!
very good explanation... thank you
thank you!
Superb man...superb
Best visualization of gain I have seen. David Byrd KN4BHS
Great Explanation, I see that you guys stopped creating videos, Though I dont know the reason but if you guys have the capability to create a video explanation like this I can see that in future you can create more like this and turn it into a science channel, where people can pay you privately to learn more
good and easy explanation. Thanks :)

Really well presented.. I'm currently putting a lesson together for our sales staff and I hope its ok to show them this video instead of my bumbling though explaining how gain works.
Feel free to do that.
@@solwise Thanks :-)

Superb man
really nice clear explanation - thank you !
awesome
Very nice explanation! Thanks
excellent
Excellent +++
i used to explain to people that a lot of things in physic can be explain in other type of form using other material or physic to understand it easier. just like if you amp up the power way too much it doesn't really improve the signal as much compare to the antenna itself. it might disrupt the listener. i relate it to screaming. if someone talk normally you can hear the words clearly. but if you scream the words next to your ear, its harder to hear it clearly. in some case, giving too much power disrupt the quality of signal.
Excellent.
thanks a lot for that explanation, i have another question about dBi, it is written on the Antenna, that mean, each Antenna has own dBi.
Nice explanation.super.can pls show how to make Yagi Uda Antenna.i want to learn from u pls.tq.
I love you!
So if it's all about focus, how does a higher gain antenna help if it's the exact same shape?
Like trading the stock unit for a "high gain" antenna that looks pretty much the same.
got it
Nice animation work you have done here.
You could go true a complete radio amateur course with this animation work and make the boring stuff, less boring.
After gain, will the antenna be Omni directional?
The fuck did I just watch? was it this easy to explain? you sir have just won a subscriber
Maybe the best video for the (Antenna Gain ) on youtube!
Please explaining antenna arrays radiation pattern this way
Very nice
Yes I'm so glad you could talk to me like I was four years old because I wouldn't get it if you wasn't talking to me like a child
👍👍👍
beautifull
Then how would we know by seeing the antenna that which side is it focusing its waves? Will the user need to put receiver antenna in same direction mandatorily as the transmitter antenna has gain in one direction!?
Identifying Orientation: I'm not sure there is a generic answer to this question, antennas come in all shapes and sizes. If it is not obvious try searching for an arrow somewhere on the antenna, otherwise consult the manual.
Selecting Orientation: If the link is point-to-point then the two antennas should be aimed at each other. For point-to-multipoint then the central antenna should be omnidirectional and each endpoint shoul be aimed at that.
Hope that helps.
Make another video like this
Welk Dome & thx
Its a good explanation, but the equation could provide a better understanding
I don't get it. Does this have anything to do with my gain knob and if so, what is it doing?
We learnt if we gain more db then directivity will be narrower or less coverage ..
narrow beam radar detect stukas and v1s approaching english shores
