    thanks so much for posting this video! as a book binding newb i was realy excited to stumble upon it! :) any chance you'll be posting other book binding tutorial videos? I'm familliar with the basic, but I'm sure there are tips, options, etc, i'm missing

    Good Question. I have it there so that when I tie knots at the ends I can easily slip either thread under the other.

    Thank you. No I did not. I read a lot of books but until I purchased a video on bookbinding I did not understand this process. There are many ways to do this.
