- This is a simple chord progression for underscoring a message or altar call.
A Progression:
C | Dm7 | C/E | Am7 | F 1 | 2 | 1/3 | 6 | 4
B Progression:
Am7 | G | Fmaj7 | 6 | 5 | 4
Am7 | G | C 6 | 5 | 1
In this video I use my preset called "Piano and Drone" which is one of my favorite presets. The preset contains one of my own synth pads samples called 'Worship Drone' which isn't a stuck sample.

I've ordered the Stage 3 which will arrive in a few weeks. I can't wait to get into it with some pads like that! Thank you for sharing. Please keep them coming. I've traditionally stuck to a little more rigid chord progressions (with some subtle changes) for backing altar calls etc. It's usually just progressions of 3 or 4 chords repeated. Having not played keys in about 10 years i'm incredibly keen to get into it again! I've been leading with an acoustic for a long time and feel led back to the keys for this season. So keen! Thanks again :)

How do you get the pad to play continuous and then use the pedal for your piano chords? Would love a tutorial on making this exact setup

Great questions, I'll consider creating a tutorial on that in the future. Are you interested in tutorials with the Stage 3 or Stage 4?
And to shortly explain how this is built: I've created a high splitpoint with the pads above the splitpoint and piano under the splitpoint. Then I've octaved down the pads (I think -2). To keep the drone sustained enable KB hold in the synth section. You can now start a drone pad from the notes above the high splitpoint and play the piano part without affecting the drone.

Hey, nice progression but I've not yet understood the play of the right hand, please make it clear. I mean; where you wrote (6), I see you playing the 1st fifth. BTW, which key are you using: ???
That's a great question. When underscoring a message or altar call I usually try to open up the chords to achieve a more floating, open sound. The bass notes define the chord while I tent to play the 1st and fifth in the right hand. That's a very simple and easy way to make your progression sounds great and not distracting.
