It’s going to be my first year doing corp taxes. My software I have is only for individual taxes. Is it safe to pay per return on business returns since I still don’t have clientele. My goal is to eventually get a software that does both. What software do you recommend for biz returns? I’m leaning proconnect please advise
Some people can't use the Free Tax USA based on income so this is the alternative. The premium package cost me $15 last year. It did fed and state and will also track year by year comparison. I love it!!!

Thank you for the help with schedule D and captial losses. I've used this site for years, and this worst year ever. I will continue to use because of the price.
I use to use TT, but they completely messed up everything this year. I had issues with depreciation and 1116 (they initially said they would not e-file the new 1116 sched B. After some weeks it seems that this is now possible, though.). I ended up trying some other options and, after some research, stuck to OLT. It is not user friendly. Correct. Sometimes I had to browse the IRS instructions, which is a nightmare. On the other hand, it is good to know how things should be done at the form level. I may use it again next year.
I use OLT sometimes. It wastes a lot of time asking questions that it could identify based on answers to other questions. I used it because it was only $9.95. Wonder if credit karma tax sells your data or links it to some other data base. Switching all to freetax usa
Good Review - I would not use this tax software - too many questions and there are other services out there that are easier to use. I would believe I would make a mistake using this software.
I had a boyfriend for 8 years who was a CPA and I don't trust CPAs to do my taxes on a simple return like mine CPAs only want to charge you top dollar and they look at other people's taxes to see what their incomes are because they are "bean counters" as well as socially inept sociopaths! The CPA is complaining about how much detail is included in the deductions so that you can find deductions to use if you need them he is shocked and he's trying to dissuade the public from a very good app of course like I said if none of it complies to you you just click the next button go to the next page at least you know that you are going over everything with a fine tooth comb and understand what other tax preparers do for a fee, and almost nobody really needs a CPA unless they own a corporation.
