- A few years back, three guys went fishing, but that just wasn't any day of fishing. Just when you least expected it, Matt Newman caught his personal best-spotted bass, and a few minutes later, Paul Bailey caught the World Record Spotted Bass that weighed 11.5 on four different scales. The nation went bonkers. Today those three same guys are going fishing again at one of the world's best bass fishing lakes. Welcome to Clear Lake!
