I think my favorite part is watching the little boys play. It reminds me of summers at my grandparents when I was a kid. It makes me happy to know that somewhere in the world, kids are still kids.
That's what I like too. Seeing the kids playing, working & helping wherever needed. They seem to enjoy helping & learning. Gives me memories of growing up in the 50's & 60's.
I have learned so much from you, Ruth Ann, and I thank you for sharing with the world your family & way of life.

Wow. I’m only half way through your video and my mouth is standing open. I’m so amazed at your beautiful life. You work so hard and the land provides you such bounty in so many ways. I doubt if your children realize, yet, that this life they have is such an amazing life. To be kids, have their imagination not stolen away by constant tv and internet input. They play how I remember playing as a child. Oh it was not on land like yours and we didn’t have many animals, but we did have imagination for days. It was a beautiful childhood we had, and at the time we had no idea how special it was. I’m 66 years old now and I know for certain I was blessed to be a child in the 1960’s to 1970’s. I grew up in a small town where kids were safe and most all the mothers were stay at home moms. Your video takes me back to those simpler times. I miss that world I grew up in, your children are so blessed RuthAnn to live the wonderful life your husband and yourself have made for them💝 Thank you for sharing your life with so many. I know you made this older lady happy when I watch your videos ❤. May God continue to Bless you and your family with health, happiness and an abundance of joy and love.

There's nothing else I can say that hasn't already been said by many of your fans. I think you are wonderful. Your work ethic is amazing. Your bright and cheerful sunshine smile says it all. Your children have worked more than some people have worked in their lifetime. You've given your children such a blessing for teaching them manners, work ethic, gratefulness, play time and love to mention just a few. You, Ruth Ann on the other hand are one of the most wonderful people in the world. I hope you know that. Your light shines bright.

I love seeing Hadassah’s footprints in between the potatoes, buried in the dirt. Your family’s imprint on the land plays just as big a role as on the harvest as the sunshine and rain does. Your children are blessed to be raised in such a way!

This video shows how hard you love and work for your family. I love that your children are being raised with animals, playing in the woods and the rain. But also learning life skills. She fell in love with you & your family as I had . I am in Virginia & she was in North Carolina . I say ' WAS ' , because my sweet sister 8 years younger than me , went home to THE LORD this morning after a long battle with cancer . I remember her replying back to me after one of your videos saying how she could just listen to you all day . Thank you for bringing a touch of joy & wholesomeness to her life .

I don’t know how you get it all done but I’m viewing it from my perspective of doing it all by myself which is just unrealistic. You have such organizational and management skills to go along with the work ethic that you can make it all happen! You are a true inspiration ❤ I wish I would have had a role model like you when I was young and had kids at home, I would have certainly done things differently !

I helped planting and momma taught me how to can and freeze things. Though they have been gone for many years. It's seams like yesterday I was teaching my children the same thing. How time flies. I want to thank you, RuthAnn for your canning tip a few months ago. I have a Presto pressure canner and have had siphoning issues, especially when canning in winter (even here in California). Your tip to lower the temperature more slowly when the at pressure phase ends to allow for a slower cool down of the contents worked brilliantly on my canning of turkey broth yesterday. Thank you very much! Thank you also for sharing your videos each week, which I enjoy.

RuthAnn, watching this was such a blessing... it brought back so many farm memories. While we do live on a farm still, growing up in a Dairy & Cattle farm and seeing all the beautiful work y'all did, is such a great memory...

Having a pantry in your cellar full of food you grew and canned yourself has got to be such a great feeling. I'm envious that you have fresh milk and cream. My mom used to purchase milk on occasion from a local farmer. Churned butter and sometimes homemade jam on freshly baked bread is yum! I enjoy watching you prepare your meals by scratch. My mom grew up this way and she did have a small garden while i was growing up. She was able to grow a lot of fruits and vegetables in that space. Your videos bring so much nostalgia from my childhood with my mom and grandma. I wish i would have said i wanted my grandma's butter churn when asked. My husband grew a nice sized garden but had to quit due to a back injury. How exciting that you're going to be grandparents next month! ❤ I'm so glad that i found your channel! This is such a beatiful video that you should be proud of. ❤ - Carol
