When tuning the Trumpet, by the (piano) C instrument, notes are written a whole step lower than the Trumpet. This tends to show it going in the opposite direction (from what's presented here) in transposition. Switch the C instrument and Trumpet transposition notes to successfully work in the concert key. The Trumpet C has the same pitch as the concert piano B flat. All notes will fit in order from the adjustment.
    Trumpet C is concert B FL/A#
    Trumpet D is concert C
    Trumpet E FL/D# is concert D FL/C#
    Trumpet G is concert F
    Trumpet B is concert A
    _______________________________________________________________________________________________________
    concert B FL/A# is Trumpet C
    concert C is Trumpet D
    concert D FL/C# is Trumpet E FL/D#
    concert F is Trumpet G
    concert A is Trumpet B

So assuming you have been the staff of a particular song to play, say happy birthday. And the on the staff, the key signature is G major. Are you suppose to play the actual G major or concert G?

If your trumpet is a Bb trumpet, you would be playing G major with F major pitches but the on music sheet, it is G major

The A major you play was not correct.. You played C sharp not A major.
And when you were talking about G concert key you actually played it correctly
