Ivana Komatina for me it was when he realized his dream of being a parent to Henry was dead when his lawyer (Alan Alda) tells him he’s not going to win and he’s telling him that stupid joke. But his best acting was the fight. That was brutal.

I am so glad I am living at the time when Adam Driver's career is blossoming like the most beautiful flower known to mankind. This man deserves the world, seriously
I feel ya. Apart from River Phoenix, I have never come across someone as unique and real as him, both on and off screen. He has actually made me excited about films again and I really haven't had that since Phoenix !!!
Adam Driver can carry an entire movie by himself. The guy is an incredible talent. Just his presence on screen is already powerful. He can be terrifying one moment, and then switch into song and dance, and then have an incredibly realistic emotional breakdown, and then dive into intense dramatic dialogue and break your heart with his delivery and nuance. He's also fantastic at performing "still scenes" and acting without words. He can pull off the brave heroic protagonist role, or be a suave intelligent character. The range in him as an actor is completely ridiculous. Spike lee was even saying how great Adam Driver was after they worked together. I'll watch anything he's in at this point. He was absolutely incredible in this role. The guy was pouring his heart out in some of those scenes and he knows how to turn the dial up gradually and do the "high wire act"
What was crazy is how good he is at physical comedy. The scene with the childcare inspector was simultaneously hilarious, cringe-inducing, and heart-breaking.
I recently read a article about him and the writer said: "With his giant posture, Adam invades the scene every times he appears". With Marriage story, I understand why. His performance in the movie is the best in this decade to me. He deserves an Oscar for this one, at least a nomination.
Hearing those words coming from you, it must be a masterpiece! I trust you over everyone else Mr. Inés SA, because you are the chosen one, and you have incredible taste in cinema! God bless you!

@@farhanjamli3676 I did yesterday night. The difference between what happened with my parents and in this movie, is that my parents took the time to figure things out. They broke up, but weren't in a hurry to get away from each other as they arranged what would be best. powerful, poingnant, a masterpiece. Thanks, Noah Baumbach, for this gem of a movie.
Noah and Adam are so like Quentin and Christoph Waltz.. i just can't!
ALRIGHTTT!!! I love Adams performance in this movie he is so natural, he always fits so good in his characters, I probably would be able to appreciate his permanence better but I really can't tell much about the story of a divorce...🤷🏻♀️ kudos to him for one more amazing performance!!!! love him
I cried the whole time ... I have never been divorce and watching this is like an eye opening for people like my self that have an assumption that divorce is that horrible ....
It’s such an awesome movie. And I just love how much they gush over each other. 💕💕💕
Adam deserves the Best Actor Oscar this year, but it will go to Joaquin. Adam's performance in Marriage Story was so devastating and authentic. He's going to go down in history as one of the most amazing actors of all time...mark my words!
The script was stellar...well worth reading. On the page it reads more like a play than a film.
The singing really reminded me of Alan Rickman in Sweeney Todd. It's uncanny.
If dustim hoffman won for kramer vs kramer then this man should win it also. The sidebar scene, the argument scene and the letter scene are enough testaments.
You can tell how different Adam is when he is being interviewed for Star Wars snd when he is being interviewed by a film like this.
“I hate to use the term bromance” “No you’re right, bromance” 😂😂😂
I love it.
Brilliant movie! Terrific performances! This can make you think about your own relationship... Hope it wins many Oscars!
I actually really liked this interview and that really was something i wanted to know more about, Adam singing❤
"physical" "madcap"
Is theatre dead? Because it's all theatre baby! Almost all of the classics have this energy in the scenes because actors don't forget to use their entire body and directors don't navel gaze into the singularity of the protagonist.
Man I love Baumbach. And Driver's performance was soul crushing. Bravo!
"It would not be a career wasted if i just found a way to work on his movies until i died" if that's not the most beautiful thing i-
Adam is such a great actor, so underrated.. Nice shoes he's wearing btw 🔥
Best script of the year and obviously screenplay and performances are fantastic
Best film of the year.
If Adam Driver will not get an Oscar for Marrige Story then i'm suing mates.
Maja Sal I agree! He deserves it!
Adam Driver is HARD AF
The letter scene got me. Perfect
The sister was so good lol, great comic relief
They look like real brothers
The best movie of 2010s.
Wow. Knights of Sidonia is back! I am so hyped! That is still a very good anime to watch to me. Please keep your Netflix in Netflix. I want to see more originals from you guys. If you are bringing other movies from different channels over, please do your best to expand your library so you can fit more t.v. shows and movies in for us to watch. :)
So my headphones were not working right when watching this movie so I only heard the music and little to no dialogue. I watched the movie for 45 minutes straight assuming that was just a creative decision. The acting was great even without the talking!
i rewatched this movie like SO MANY times just because i'm into that kinda mood lol
Adam es perfecto
Adam... Sweet baby angel.
Adam ❤️
La acabo de ver me encantó tanto que no me la puedo sacar de la mente !
This movie was amazing!
This movie is already a classic.
One of the best film in 2019
all i see are adam's hands
Good 💝💝❤❤
it will be adam vs joaquin the joker for the oscar best actor.. who is gonna win?
Adam! He is wayyy better. Just his performance.... Something truly amazing
I agree. I’d also anticipate Michael B Jordan being in the running with “Just Mercy” coming out.
Michael Hauserman I dont think he has a chance at all, I mean in addition to Adam and Joaquin we have DiCaprio, De Niro, Jonathan Pryce, Taron Egerton, Antonio Banderas, Eddie Murphy and even Adam Sandler
Adam
I hope it’s Adam but I think maybe Joaquin for political reasons
I hope Adam can win the Oscar.
Best movies of the year imo:
Joker.
Parasite.
The Lighthouse.
Marriage story.
Marriage Story*
The Irishman?
I, personally, wouldn't put Joker in the top 5. I would swap it with Once Upon A Time In... Hollywood and then include Pain & Glory to round it off
My list:
1. The Irishman
2. Joker
3. Marriage story
4. OUATIH
5. Endgame
I was unable to see parasite, lighthouse and jojo rabbit. It didn't play in a single theater near me. I have to wait for streaming or dvd
Adam + Noah 4 eva
wait so she said they worked on 4 movies together, but i can only think of Frances Ha, The Meyerowitz Stories and Marriage Story. What movie am i missing ? Thanks
While We're Young.
Masterpiece
Scorsese and Leo , Baumbach and Adam
Random but how are the bottoms of Adam's shoes always spotless!? I don't understand.
Jade Brewer he has a stylist that pull his outfits for interviews usually outfits and shoes are brand new when they are borrowed or rented for an interview or red carpet
Adam Driver was an absolute force in this film (as usual). And Noah Baumbach just delivers such a delicate and genuine experience. I've made a video on the film, please check it out!!
Fascinating movie!
3:17 Adam Driver's working for LucasFilms, the editing is never done.
Please someone give Adam a role where he can gets a girl or not divorced or not dead. His contents always rips my heats out T_T
