  • I finally got my hands on this brand! Coilycue offers many different styles & textures of human crochet hair. This particular style is said to last 1.5 years.
    The texture was soft, there was no shedding & this pre-looped style definitely locked each piece in place. Below, you will find the link to purchase your bundles... And don't forget to tell me how you like it!

    UPDATE: My client said this hair held up great! She wore it on her vacation in which it got wet but didn't do any harm whatsoever. She said it didn't tangle up, shed or lose it's soft texture. Eventually, she curled the hair using steam rollers & said the curls turned out beautifully. From the pictures I seen on her social media, she wasn't lying. She decided to take the hair out in order to wash her hair (her preference) but she was able to do so without cutting it out. So she'll be able to wash & reuse it. Sorry for the delay of a review but I hope this helps when deciding to purchase. In my professional opinion, I think this hair's a winner!

      Thank you! This is very helpful. I want to look glam but I also want to swim on my upcoming vacay. This may be the answer.

      @queensprotectivestyling FINALLY a video that shows exactly how to install this hair!!! I purchased a 4pack several months ago. I used about 40 pieces of the Coilycue brand with a different human crochet hair brand. OMG the Coilycue hair was a hot mess!! It matted in the pool and did not stay attached to my braid! I was SOOO angry because this hair was so freakin expensive and took FOREVER to arrive!! After watching your video I NOW understand that I did not install the hair correctly!!😂 A huge THANK YOU for this video!! I THINK that I will attempt a re-install of the Coilycue hair in October…after my pool days!

    If you did this again would you recommend the pre-loop or the standard hair?

    • @queensprotectivestyling
      @queensprotectivestyling  2 місяці тому +1

      I haven't posted the video yet, but I did install the standard option recently. I prefer the pre-loop however. It gave a little more security, in my opinion.

      @@queensprotectivestyling100% agree!! Without the prelooped ring you have to figure out how to hide the hard middle attachment!

      I apologize... the only visual I have of the braid pattern is what you can see in the video. I did horizon braids in the back and vertical up top

    Great install. Textured hair is the extra spice that makes crochet such a better option than closures or lace fronts. I am looking forward to trying my first human hair raw Indian curls with this method at the front (will use slightly tighter curls at the hair line) and a v part wig. So over closures at this point.

      Hmm let me give it a shot. On each side of the part, I installed the hair like I did throughout. Then I took my crochet hook back under each piece & pulled a part of the hair back under which allowed the hair to then fold over & hide the rubber piece. After I did this process enough for full coverage of the braids, I took my teasing brush & teashed the hair to give it a more natural look. I hope this helps!
