I really hope Mexicans really start to make serious efforts towards transforming our beautiful motherland so it can reach its full potential. Can you imagine a large metropolitan city that coexists with its natural landscape instead of trying to oppress its true nature? El DF could be so beautiful. I really hope it happens in my lifetime.

wow truly a amazing and informative video about something soo important, also the architect that wants to somehow transform the city to it's original form, just the idea is magnificent but if only that is possible it would truly be one of the biggest masterpieces in human history let alone just Mexico, it would be one of the most beautifulest city's in the world as it was in ancient times, I mean Venice would be nothing compared to Tenochtitlan, it was a city actual made up of floating gardens made by indigenous architecture.
Chennai city in Tamilnadu state of India also has the same water crisis. Please check it out. Here people use short term solutions rather than long terms solutions.
First off, we have to realize that México City it's already overpopulated..we have to create awareness that it's time to descentralize many industries out of this metropoli...an option might be building an adjacent city where to move all these companies or business...take Brasilia in Brazil as an example..a model to follow up...then it will be plenty of water for the ones that decide to stay....🤔
El término “Tierras que no valen nada” creo que estaría mal implementado, la actividad industrial le ha quitado valor a estar tierras y a su subsuelo, me parece buen video y una versión para mejorar.
I'd like to see a video on how the local bottled water companies which sell bottled water to most citizens. Simply fill the empty bottles from tap water. I live two houses from such a supposed bottled water provider. And becasue he speaks a bit of English often visit him. And during such visits, have personally wtinessed him filling collected empty bottle from clients and refilling them with his gathered water from his tinaca. He sells hundreds every week, and profess's to his clients that he utilizes an filter system the same as I have which cost me due to my wife and my usage of water for showering and laundry alone some 5,000 (1,000 U.S) a year. But in none of my visits have I ever seen a filter system at all. Just a hose from a tap. Though there are many exploiting the bottled water here by doing the same. He doesn't even bother to put seals on them as the other due, which though it doesn't mean anything, gives credence to some of the distributors when competing for clients.
New “documentary”, old information. There is a system in place since the 70’s to deal with water. Mexico City sees a lot of rain water which is capture and treated. There are time when water gets cut off due to system maintenance.
the mayor needs an interim plan the people can't wait 6 years for water they need water now the mayor should determine which areas have the least access to water and purchase the largest air to water generators which can make 5 thousand gallons of water a day and place several of those throughout the city until she has found a permanent source of water if she can't get water from the rivers then she can begin building water desalination plants

Can you fill up that gap in the space With the city is on top of it(let’s play fill in the gap)
Politicians and cooperations: 🤬😡 There’s too mucho 🤬 water coming in! All these floods, let’s pump all the water out! People: 🙏 yes, rain, omg finally water Let’s find a way to keep it, due to the lack of water throughout the year.
What an amazing architectural; restructuring proposal by Alberto Kalach!! I hope they really do this and turn Mexico-Tenochtitlan into how it used to be! Does anyone know his IG?

Alberto Kalach's idea is totally feasible and the right thing to do, this would probably benefit the city in many ways and avoid a total collapse. Imagine how unique CDMX would become, outside of the historical and architectural beauty it already has, it would be like Venice but actually bigger, modern, self sustaining. I picture Amsterdam Avenue from Condesa but times 50000000 and with many canals. Holy! It would be an investment as tourism would increase, the world would want to see and learn from CDMX I wonder if any Mexican can give us an update whether any of his ideas have been heard and followed by politicians?
That architect is really passionate about retuning Mexico city to its former glory
It’s time to coexist with the water by living on artificial islands on top of the lake but more modern.

I think it’s time to relocate to another location. Stop letting that city grow

In Mexico city It's not a water problem, it's an over population problem.

En estados unidos primero hicieron los acueductos y luego se expandieron. Aquí no les importo nunca. Hasta hoy.
Extracting water from the air with devices would help I think. The machines are available and are as large as an A/C unit.

I have the answer!
Build an airport on lake Texcoco 🤣🤣🤣
That’s exactly what they wanted to do
the mayor needs an interim plan
the people can't wait 6 years for water
they need water now
the mayor should determine which areas have the least access to water and purchase the largest air to water generators which can make 5 thousand gallons of water a day and place several of those throughout the city until she has found a permanent source of water
if she can't get water from the rivers then she can begin building water desalination plants
pinche amlo
Should've built the city next to the lake, not literally in the lake lol
