It's a first time any kpop group mixed Japanese and Korean in their Japanese debut. So it has been very historic to them. The release was targeting Japan and was well received but also very well received in Korea as well. Usually japanese songs for kpop acts would not do well locally (in Korea). So this has been a very strategic move but super smart.
All new jeans songs are 90s.... 90 rnb and its club variants miami bass and new jack swing (supernatural)... then 90s UK and US clubland sounds.. mostly uk garage but also drum and bass (right now) and jersey club
