I see your comments sometimes people wanting to run with you. They don’t understand that running a stealth character is way stronger when you play alone as a solo. Don’t get me wrong, playing with friends and running the map together is great fun. But when you want pure stealth, it’s best to go in solo playing it silent and slow. It’s very hard to find great stealth players in DayZ. Most players want to dance around back and forth so they don’t get shot, when alls they really need to do is stay still and don’t be seen. I will lay in trees for hours just waiting for that one shot. I might take down less players, but I also never get taken down. Great vid man, I recently tried out the ghillie life style for the first time and I love it. I found having an organised inventory helps looting dead bodies a lot quicker. Also do you prefer the plate carrier over the assault vest + butt pack combo? I ditched the Plate carrier as I thought it stuck out to much and the extra stam is amazing for relocating.
You get a nice clear shot of the Myshkino camo tent from the lighting tower in the industrial. Its a long one but no one sees it coming 😊 Same for Zeleno but you are a bit more exposed there.
Because in your jacket or pants pocket they can be blown up from you taking damage. In the vest there is no hit box so no way for them to become damaged
@camo_rat I hope you took the feedback well, and not as a way of insulting you, that was not my intention. Moving forward, I like to point out a few things. 1. Bolt action rifles are the elite from what I've known in DayZ. The tundra and Mosin were my go-to. .308 rounds hit hard, and it will uncon anyone with a plate carrier which making the second and final shot guarantee death.(I've noticed you were using the Blaze and set it to fire 2 barrels instead of 1. Which 2 will KILL.) If you know they hit, and saw it hit, no need to follow up for a double tap. 2. .308 caliber and 7.62x54 hit the same amount of power. Only difference is, .308 Flys slower that 7.62x54. Which makes hitting moving targets with .308 more challenging than the 7.62x54(Mosin, VSD). 3. Ditch the second shoulder weapon, you don't need 2 long ranged weapons. Pick your primary, and have a secondary as a side arm or a sawed off. 4. When you're primary objective is being a sniper, be that primary sniper, don't go off looting your victims, instead use it as bait. If you're gonna go for the loot, Ditch your equipment somewhere close and hidden with side arm in hand or second primary(Sub-gun) to go loot. Once you know the coast is clear with confidence, loot and what you don't want and can't carry despawn it. Fastest way to despawn is bury the body. Not saying you have to carry around a shovel everywhere lol. 5. Travel LIGHT. It's extremely important to do so as a sniper. The lighter you travel, the more quiet you sound when you move. The plate carrier isn't going to help you, it's just dead weight. You're a sniper, and your job is STEALTH, SILENCE, and being INVISIBLE. And do so with confidence. 6. When wearing a ghillie suit, always have hunter gear on, matching the environment of the which color ghillie suit. I personally don't like the brown ghillie because it gives off predictable vibes. My favorite is the multi color color ghillie which is green and brown. You are a BUSH, not a tree, not grass, a BUSH. So your best camouflage are shrubs, bushes, and tall grass. 7. When taking the shot that not suppressed, especially that blaze, it's LOUD. After said shot, put it away immediately and start moving to a new location SLOWLY, no need to rush or sprint away. You'll just make it obvious to your location. When you've killed someone, and they're not alone, they are more worried about not getting killed themselves, rather find some cover before figuring out what to do next, which either be looking for you, running away, or watching their buddies body for looters. 8. The Zs are your perfect tools for everything. You can aggro them by throwing an object close by them so when you wanna find that perfect shot opportunity to someone. Those are the best tips I got, and it'll work for riding solo. I've been solo for 5-6 years when DayZ was still vanilla before deciding to group up with players. Any questions let me know. Happing hunting, I hope this improves your perspective.

I LOVE the Tundra, I hate the Mosin because of the scope it has. In poor light, or at night, sometimes the target is hard to see. I had experiences like this. Easy target but I couldn't see him because of the scope. So I don't play Mossin because of that, but it's a good gun. Tundra is one of my favorite snipers. 2. I didn't know that, the game seems simple, but when you get into the details, it's not that simple anymore. I learned something new, thanks :) 3. In the video I had a DMR and a LAR, I had that LAR with me only because I found it and I haven't hidden it somewhere yet. But I agree with you. 4. And here you are right. In my mind, I imagine that if I kill someone, that someone must also be looted at some point, even if I already have good weapons and equipment. It's like it's your trophy for killing that player. But you're right, I shouldn't loot the players if it doesn't happen in a safe environment, and if I already have good equipment and weapons. Agree 100%. Tnx for this, I will make different decisions in the future. 5. This is a difficult subject. Even though I was thinking about whether to wear carrier plates or not with a ghillie suit. In my mind it's something like: "if I meet someone at close range, and that guy doesn't have such a good gun, or maybe he does, I take a bullet in the minus", but a ghillie has to be almost invisible, easy to move quickly when needed. I will apply this in my game, thanks! To be easy, I always have stashes on the server where I play so I don't carry all the loot with me, you won't really see me wearing a backpack. 6. I agree with you, but I have to add something. The grass does not render for more than 100m, and the bushes disappear at more than 340 m. 7. You said something very interesting here. "start moving to a new location SLOWLY", there is no point in adding anything, I understand the logic. I admit I don't always do that. Thanks for that too. If the killed player has a team, trio, or duo, his teammates will always try to loot the killed one even if it will bring their death too. This is what I noticed during my time playing on DayZ. It doesn't make sense, but that's what they do almost all the time. Thanks for the advice, it will help me in the future. I'm open to game tips. genuinely trying to improve. Im so confused how u can tell so quickly if he's in a city or not. like at one point u took sooo long scouting out aa town looking for him, but in another u instantly knew he wasnt there anymore. how? genuinely i dont understand. anything helps.
The number one tip for you to know is that zombies spawn if a player is within 300 meters zone and despawn if player goes outside the 300 meters zone in about 8 minutes. So if you are watching Zelenogorsk mil base from 400-500 meters and you see zombies, then there IS or recently WAS a player. Then you can watch for about 5 minutes and if zombies despawn, then you are a bit late and the player already left. Not much to it really. Another thing you can use to track players is mushrooms, they spawn in forrest if a player was nearby and the last tip is "the routes". Learn about different routes players take to gear up - western route, northern route etc. If you get to know these, you can pretty much guess where the player is heading next and catch up with him. Doesn't always work, people are unpredictable, but it will increase you chances of tracking a player down. Hope this helps

I prefer a plate carrier when I have pouches for it. But if I don't have a plate carrier, I also wear an assault vest.
