how long was the wait time between the 2 coats of clear. The axalta/spies people told me I am supposed to do 1.5 coats back to back, one panel at a time. Sounds insane. I like to just do 2 good coats....few mins apart. using 8180. its so sensitive, don't leave it in booth with doors closed....don't bake too long, but not too short.

What kind of air gun is that you use to blow dust off of the car. It looks like that wide nozzle flattens the air flow. Thank you.

Yes its flattens the air flow,its called windjet air nozzle.

Your air pressure seems very high or it may just be the sound. I like to use about 28 psi

thanks man,this is waterbase from spies hecker the 480 serie Hi-Tec. gun used is a devilbiss gti pro with a 1.2mm nozlle and a t2 cap,everything wide open on the gun at 2.o bar.same for base and clear.sometimes i spray the clear at 2.2bar.👍
