This worked perfectly, so perfectly that I took the handle back off and put two screws in the side that wasn't broken so that the repaired side wasn't taking all of the force. Completely perfect, sturdy repair. You saved me tons of $$ Thank you.
I'm glad I found this video. This is so much simpler than trying to epoxy the handles in place. I love the layout of the French door style, but the icemaker is another story. Mine has upper and lower icemakers, the upper one froze up solid and I just turned it off. From what I understand that is a common problem with the Samsung Ice makers. Your idea for this repair is great. Thanks for posting.

So awesome to hear man! I’m thinking about doing the same thing to! It will be solid!
Hallelujah! I thought for sure I was going to have to buy a new door. Thanks so much for this video!!!
Awesome glad this worked oout for you!
BINGO! Worked like a charm. Not sure what Samsung is thinking with a movable handle anyway.
Hahaha awesome lo glad that worked out for you!

Glad it was of help!
What keeps the screw from just pulling right out with repeated use
It’s screwed in tight
Helpful but the handle piece I think fell in? I am looking for a breakdown on how to get into the door there.
I believe it would have to be from the inside there like a couple of screws that can release the door
Noticed the screws were spinning as if the hole is striped. What kind of screws were used?
