Minecraft - Game Crash from Thorns & Fire Charge (v1.8; Read desc)

This is in version 1.8 since in later editions this crash is fixed.
Got the idea to test it out from one of cubfan135's videos, and it has been confirmed to be true.
Not entirely sure why it happens, but I think it might be because the thorns tries to deal damage to a fire charge, which can't handle the thorns and thus crashes.
